Hi! We are heading down in 15 days (:cool1:) and my DD's friend is going to be coming to the parks with us for just a few days. He lives in FL and just got his ticket today at AAA. It is a FL resident 3 day hopper with the waterpark add on. His mom said he would need to activate it at a main park but I wondered if this is a ticket we could activate in DTD as we are going there first and he would need to use the admission to Disney Quest. If it can only be done at one of the 4 main parks I will need to let them go there before we head to DTD/DQ for the afternoon.

If we can do it in DTD, where do we go to do that?

Thanks!

Anything related to Park tickets can be done at any of the following locations:

Any Park (including Water Parks) ticket booth. This includes the TTC.

Any Guest Relations Office (GRO) outside the parks. This includes the Water Parks, TTC and DTD.

Any GRO inside the Parks.

Guest Services/Concierge in the Resorts; however they cannot do anything related to Annual Passes and may not be able to handle Florida Resident tickets.

This includes "will-call", upgrading any tickets, replacing any tickets, converting an AP voucher to an AP, or selling an AP.

Anything that can be done related to tickets at a GRO can also be done at a regular ticket window. The ticket windows cannot do things such as make reservations, unscramble problems related to room keys, or handle Lost and Found or Guest Recovery.
