Where should we head after Wishes when staying for EMH?

We're planning on attending evening EMH at MK in September. We'll be watching Wishes and are wondering where to head during the Wishes mass exodus after the show? We'll want to hit attractions in most of the lands so just wondering where we should head first. I assume Fantasyland will remain busy after Wishes and was thinking of heading to Frontierland right after Wishes.

Any advice?

Thank you! Haven't attended an EMH at MK in quite awhile.

I'd head toward Adventure land since it's close to the hub. You can easily duck into The Jungle Cruise for a fun after-dark ride and let the crowds clear out. From there work your way around to Frontier land, then Liberty Square. I'd then cut back through the hub and take on Tomorrowland and finish up in Fantasyland.

That's what we're doing!

Anyone have an opinion on whether JC or POTC will have a longer standby wait after Wishes?

I only suggest that whichever land you choose, you are near the side of the street that takes you there. If you watch from in front of The Plaza and then want to go to Adventureland or Frontierland, you have to get across the street as people head for the exit. Whereas if you are in front of Casey's, you would have an easier time getting to Adventureland or Frontierland.

As for Fantasyland still being busy, it might be but if you are one of the first in that area after the fireworks, it might not be so bad to get into a few lines.

This is a good question because we have been caught in the mobs before trying to get to splash mountain.

I wouldn't be surprised if both were walk-ons, or close enough

We always just into whatever land we are closest too. I doubt the wait for JC or POTC will be long at all after Wishes.

Yes, as others have said, I would stay to the left side of the hub when viewing wishes if your plan is to go to Adventureland/Frontierland after the show. This way you won't have to fight as many crowds after.

I also HIGHLY recommend riding Big Thunder Mountain DURING Wishes. It is SO AWESOME. My husband and I did this kind of by accident on our Honeymoon, and it was one of the most magical and memorable moments of the trip for us. They shoot most of the fireworks from Tom Sawyer Island, so it feels like you are right in the middle of the action when you ride BTMRR during Wishes.

We walked on Jungle Cruise after Wishes on our last trip! POTC was our next stop and it only had a 5 minute wait.

I agree with the poster that mentioned BTMRR during Wishes. We happened to get on just as the show started once. It was a great surprise and memory.

Going along with this, it seems like the advice for following the dessert party would be to head to tomorrowland first (assuming Wishes doesn't close the park).

I would probably head towards TL, then if you want to go elsewhere, make the walk through FL. Now, if you are slower to exit, some of the traffic right at the hub may have cleared out so you could cut across. The big issue is if you are in the middle of Main Street or one side of the hub as soon as the fireworks end. That is when it is like swimming against the stream and you want to be as close to where you want to go to get out of the mess.

This is something I want to try. I have read several times it is magical.
