Where should we go?

My husband and I will be going to Disney World for a week at the end of June. During our stay we will be celebrating our very first wedding anniversary!

Obviously, I would like to eat somewhere nice for our anniversary...I want it to be a memorable day of our vacation. Any suggestions on where to go?

P.S. my husband can be quite picky at times. The only meat he eats is chicken/turkey, and only if it's boneless ! loves his veggies, though!

Almost every restaurant serves poultry, so no worries there. Here are the restaurants we're visiting during our upcoming all-adults trip. They're not the best restaurants -- we're trying to save a bit of money this time (given the bad economy and all), but they're all very good:

Le Cellier

Chefs de France

Biergarten

Spoodles

50s Prime Time Cafe

Some nice ones are Spoodles, Rose and Crown, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Chefs de France. Victoria nad Alberts, though I've never been there, seems like the place to go. I wouldn't go with Biergarten or 50s Primetime. Biergarten is a loud buffet-dinner show where you sit with other people; this migh not be so romantic. 50s Primetime is good for a lunch, not an anniversary. It's a fun restaurant where the server will yell at you for not eating your green beans. If you pick Rose and Crown, get a late reservation so that your server will take you out to the special patio for a very good view of Illuminations that is reserved for restaurant patrons.

Maybe it's because we're older, but I couldn't imagine wanting every meal in a week to be "romantic". Way too much pressure! Biergarten is loud, and you sit on long tables with other people, but it is definitely appealing to adults looking to have some fun. 50s Primetime is also an interesting experience for adults; it's the only chance we get all week to play during a meal, and many adults -- well, perhaps just older adults -- find pretending to be younger to be very romantic.

Be careful with Rose and Crown. Only 30% of the tables have a view of Illuminations, and almost every single person having dinner there after 7PM is trying for one of those tables. We've been very lucky, getting a view of the show three times out of eight tries. If you aren't lucky, you could be stuck having dinner a very noisy, crowded bar -- not very romantic to me!

We adored Citrico's at the grand Floridian, great food, great prices, great waiters, great atmosphere. We also enjoyed Jikos at AKL and California Grill at the Contemporary.

Oooo... Citricos is SOOOOO nice -- very romantic and refined. That's probably the best pick of them all for "romantic".

Citrico's would be a nice choice for your anniversary celebration. Palio at the Swan is another quiet, romantic restaurant that would be perfect for celebrating an anniversary.

thanks for all of your guys' suggestions. and we didn't go with any of them. a friend recommended 'Ohana and while I've heard mixed reviews about it, my husband seems set on going there so I made reservations today.

California grill- i reserved it for our annivsary dinner and am ordering a special dessert.
