My family is going to Orlando for vacation and I was hoping to set up one meal at a nice restaurant for everyone. I would love to try a Disney resort restaurant but I have now idea what one to pick. What is a great place with a good fun atmosphere and good food That my dad of 61, my nephew of 12, and everyone in between would enjoy? Nothing too fancy.

I would do O'hana at Poly (beautiful resort, great food and lots of it, live music and games) or Whispering Canyon Cafe (again, a beautiful resort to visit, great food and SUPER fun - make sure you ask for ketchup!)

Well, I'll just throw my choice of Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge out there. Wonderful buffet with some adventurous options and the resort is gorgeous, so much to explore

Ohana is a family favorite for us. You could also check out restaurants at Disney Springs. There are a bunch that look good there that I haven't tried.

Ohana or Whispering Canyon Cafe. I've taken visiting family twice to both and they were a hit each time with all age groups.

Hoop Dee Doo is super fun, but quite a bit more expensive as it is a dinner show.

'Ohana. I like HDD but it is expensive and it's out of the way to get there.

I would think Ohana would be a good choice. If timing is right, you can plan to be there during the MK fireworks and you get a feel for the parks without being in them. They turn lights down and pipe sounds in.

If you know the kinds of foods your party will & won't eat you can study menus and prices on-line. The Dis has a handy guide and others are just a google search away. Lotsa folks love 'Ohana but I'd be the only one in my group that would eat there(picky eaters.)
