Okay everyone...

I finally got the details for our upcoming trip ironed out (I think  )

My DH and I will be arriving a day and a half before the rest of our group (work group).

We have 2 dinners, two lunches and one breakfast 'on our own'. We are staying at the Dolphin...where should we eat. We are adventurous eaters...

Give it your best shot ;)

I personally enjoy trying the various restaurants in World Showcase and you'll be very close to this area. I know many people who praise The Flying Fish too. And don't forget Beaches & Cream but do try to go during an offtime.

For your 2 dinners I'd opt for Shula's and Flying Fish. Breakfast could be at Spoodles. I don't ordinarily do lunch myself, but assuming you can get into Epcot as often as you like, I'd do my lunch meals over there----

Thanks for your suggestions so far. Just because I'm lazy...where is the Flying Fish? I think Schula's in at the Dolphin. Am I correct?

I would recoment Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. We have had several good meals there and will again on our march trip...:jester: . I had buffalo last time and cant wait 'til i can get it again....:)

I would eat dinner at Boma's at the Animal Kingdom lodge. Rainforest Cafe was also fun at Downtown Disney. Emeril has a restaurant somewhere in the Universal park. And there looks to be an excellent restaurant in Morocco in Epcot (we ate in Norway and wished we hadn't). Crystal Palace in MK is always my favorite for breakfast. It is such a pretty restaurant.

Is Crystal Palace open again? It was closed during our December visit. That is a great breakfast...love those omelets (sp?) and what a beautiful place!

Flying fish is on the Boardwalk.

Have you considered V&A?

If you're planning on doing the parks, Chefs de France is great for lunch. Ask for Anthony...waiter extrodinaire!

Shula's is right where you are staying, and Flying Fish is but a short stroll away on the Boardwalk.

I would definetly try Shula's and yes it is in the Dolphin. That is our one must do EVERY trip now. We are trying the FF this trip thanks to the rave reviews.

OK,
for the 2 dinners, I would go to Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian and for the 2nd, I would go to Le Cellier. I would have recommended Cape May Cafe, but that is a good place to go with the family.

For lunch, I would eat at the Brown Derby and Tempura Kiku.

And for breakfast, I would eat at Boma.

Bon Apetit!

I'll never get to go to Restaurant Akershus at the Norway pavilion in Epcot(because I'm the only adventure eater in my group), but it gets consistently good reviews here on the boards. Ditto Morrocco.

We loved Akerhause. Sneak in a lunch if you can...you will be glad you did.
