We are a paty of 10- three generations ranging in age of 6 months to 65. Thought we would ring in the New year quietly but plan to be in the park during the day. So far, I have dinner ressies at Pastamore on 12/30, Mythos on 1/1 (with breakfast at Islands dining room at RPH where we are staying). Wanted to eat at Finnegan's on NYE but was told they are not taking ressies. Thought I would try again later but with a party of 10 thought I should have a back-up. There will be four children, 3 boys and a girl all ages 6 and under.

Thanks.
Amanda

My vote is for the Kitchen inside the hard Rock Hotel. They have a little play area that is good for young kids.

I don't know if they're open New Year's Eve, and if they are they're probably already booked up. but...I recommend The Dessert Lady.

It's a small rather romantic cafe that offers only desserts and wines. It's very close to Universal, just up Kirkman Rd.

The desserts are FANTASTIC and the wine selection is aimed at the serious wine drinker. Champagne, too, of course.

It's hidden away in the Kirkman Shoppes strip mall at the corner of Kirkman and Conroy. To get there, drive north on Kirkman from Universal, cross the bridge over the Florida Turnpike. Turn left at the next light and then left into the strop mall. Snake your way along the row of shops and you'll find The Dessert Lady near the end of the mall.
