I can make my PS tomorrow. We are so undecided. We've done Alfredo's and LeCelieron our October 2004 visit and would like to try something new. Any suggestions? We eat just about anything. Thanks!

Marrakesh and Teppanyaki are good ideas.

Coral Reef has a very nice atmosphere and we liked the food, although it has had mixed reviews here. It's a nice place to unwind and chill out for a bit.
Teppanyaki is nice, Marrakesh, Rose & Crown.....the list goes on. We love to eat at Epcot! LeCellier is really good, but it looks like you already tried that??

We loved LeCelier, but DH would like to try something new. His first choice is Teppanayki. Maybe that is what we'll do.

I would personally choose Nine Dragons in China. We choose this restaurant in spite of everyone's comments about it tasting like local takeout...heck, our local takeout is de-lish, so we're all about nine dragons :) . We won't be choosing teppanyaki because you're seated with strangers and I don't know about you...but I tend to avoid potentially awkward situations. We'd love to try San Angel just for the setting, but no one in the family likes Mexican :sad2: . I would avoid Biergarten and Akershus...just me. Have a great time, whatever you choose!

For CS we love Cantina del San Angel in Mexico and I liked the Japanese CS
For TS we love Biergarten and this trip are trying Le Cellier and Marrakesh

We like Rose & Crown (fish and chips, atmosphere on the patio, and beer)
We really enjoyed Marrakesh (however its spelled...) and think it is great. The food is different from our norm, but I didn't feel like it was that exotic or spicy. If you only eat American food it might be exotic. :)

The Mexican restaurant is ok, but like the Chinese restaurant, if you have good versions of these at home, I'd suggest going to something NEW and DIFFERENT at Epcot, because it is Disney after all, it can't be that scary. (This from the woman who lost it after Mission: Space...) :earseek:

I have not been to Teppanyaki, but I love Japanese steakhouses - they are a lot of fun. Yes, it's luck of the draw about who else sits at your table, but it's still possible to keep your group talking together - and it's an experience. Don't go expecting private conversation time!

Too many good choices!

I would highly recommend Teppanyaki. The food is great, and the show during the cooking of the meal is great fun.

Chef De France! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

We hadn't eated there in a few years and then tried it out in March and it was totally fabulous! ;) Great service, excellent food. nice atmosphere! I'm not even into "french cooking" and really liked everything we had.

We like San Angel Inn! :cool1: It has great ambience, a boat ride and great margaritas! :Pinkbounc What else could you want? :rotfl:

Marrakesh!!!!!! Good food, quiet relaxing atmosphere, and a belly dancer - what more could you want?

LOL we must have the same taste and family :) We can eat Nine Dragons, we like local takeout :) We can eat LeCellier but we don't like being seated with strangers (we have a local restaurant like that and we only go if we have 6 people to fill up the whole table LOL). We don't care for the others either since on vacation is not the time to try new foods for us....we'd be sick no doubt.

I agree with San Angel Inn! The atmosphere there cannot be beat. There is just something about the place when you walk in - it is really like stepping into another place and time. On our last trip in 2002 the food was not as good as I remembered in the past - but it was still good and well worth the price! We always take the boat ride after we eat - great way to relax!
