Someone I know was asking me stuff about Disney. They are driving to Florida, leaving next Friday and will be there for next Sunday.

They have 5 adults, 1 6 year old 1 10 year old and 1 13 year old travelling.

they are only getting 3 day park passes.

they want 1 day in Magic Kingdom

now they are trying to decide, either Epcot or Mgm for the other day; and they are leaning towards Animal Kingdom for the 3rd day.

so what do u suggest given the ages: Epcot or MGM?

If I only had three days to visit the parks at WDW, given the ages of the children, I would recommend Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and the Magic Kingdom. IN THAT ORDER.

Enjoy.

i would say epcot for mission space..... oh but no MGM has RnRN and Tower of Terror, oh cant they park hop and do a bit oh both

I'd vote park hop, too, but if that's not an option I'd lean towards Epcot. Unless any of them are huge movie people or need a thrill ride, Epcot will suffice. I find that I can only spend 4-5 hours at MGM and I'm done with everything I want to do. At Epcot there's just more there, and it's bigger.

I would recommend Epcot. There is a great deal of things to do there for people of all tastes. For now MGM is kind of the "Is that all there is?" park IMO. After you ride ToT and RnRC you start asking yourself "Is that all there is?" YMMV since I speak as one who has visited MGM many times. The luster has faded a bit on attractions like Backlot Tour, GMR, IJ, Star Tours, and even Muppets for me. Their repeatability is not as great as other attractions in other parks

We have 4-1/2 days and are still ditching MGM. I LOVE Epcot, our family is very animal/zoo oriented and wouldn't miss AK (our first time there as well), and of course MK. So for me, I would say ditch MGM. I LOVE LOVE LOVE ToT, but not enough to give up another day at MK (if we were staying any longer I would park hop, but for the plan we've got worked out for this trip, it isn't necessary and I'm saving that bit of money).

Both parks are awesome! MGM used to be the teen end all for WDW but now with MS, TT not to mention 'Soarin' & HIStA and the fact the MGM closes before Epcot. Epcot seems to have more bang for the buck! Not to put down any of the shows at MGM, but Epcot's alittle more rounded for the whole family. :thumbsup2

If they are able to park hop, I would tell your friends to get up early the day they do AK. That park closes early (around 6ish I think), so they could go over to MGM after and do RnR and ToT and maybe get to see Fantasmic. That way, there would be 2 full days to still do MK and Epcot. :thumbsup2
