Hi

Despite visiting Orlando regualry I need some advise - We are DVC members so our accomadation is alaways taken care of and we just book flights however Some friends of ours would like to go this August (09) and are wondering where to start looking for cheap prices:confused3

I know they want to stay on Disney and not drive (her dh had a heartattack earlier this year and they want to get away with out any stress)

They also would like free dining -and a good price on tickets

My friend has gone through a lot this year and I would like to take some ideas into work tomorrow and make her smile

BTw its a family of 4 (the two chn are 9 and 16)

Any help would be really appreciated

Thanks

Wayne, will tell you better but he usually suggests travelsupermarket, kayak & kelko sites. We got ours through Opodo, in direct £300 each a few months back, there as been offers on travelsupermarket recently for around £310, it's best to keep checking the sites. Members usually post when they spot any. For accommodation we have booked SSR at 42% off for 2 weeks, with free dining & 14 day passes for £1931. That's a studio & there's 3 of us, so your friend would need to purchase another pass at £219 and she may need a 1 bedroomed, which would be more, if the children can't share. Offer on at OKW too.

Hi did you book the accomodation through Opodo as well? thanks

I would think a ready made package is going to be at a premium now.
Best chance is book seperate but again direct flights will be at a premium. Best way will be indirect but don't see much under £500/adult just now. Last weekend they were down to £316, its just booking at the right time.

For free dining then best place is direct with Disney.co.uk, thats how most of us have booked this August. OKW or SSR I believe would be £91/night same as we paid including regular dining plan for them all, than you have to buy the tix from them also.

No, I booked through Disney UK, I had originally booked Pop on the 4nights free offer but changed it & it worked out £62 cheaper. For values at the moment it's cheaper to go through the us site.
