We always go shopping at Premium Outlets, VIneland Rd and Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet stores. As we are staying at Universal for the first few days, I quite fancy shopping somewhere else.

Where would you all recommend?

We stayed at RPR for a week in 2010 and the 2 malls we visited from there were Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia as we pinpointed them as the closest (had stayed at Disney previous week and did the malls you mentioned then).

I'd say we spent more money at Florida Mall but I still really like the Mall at Millenia. It's a bit upmarket (has Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc.) and not an outlet but it's just a really nice place to have a wander round.

I guess it depends on what kind of stores you like to shop in.

Mall of Millenia and Florida Mall are good. But also have a look at the other Premium Outlet at the other end of Int'l drive...its HUGE compared to the Vineland Road one..:)

Yes, I looked at that and I think that will be the one we go to.

I think we will also go to Buena Vista Factory Outlet as there is an Old Navy store there, which we like for cheap T shirts etc (we did go to another Old Navy somewhere - I think it was near to Ikea?) so it's maybe not essential. I just fancy a change and somewhere to browse and be tempted :thumbsup2

yes we go to LBV factory outlets purely for the Old Navy Store as well..mind you the tee's are also very cheap in the store at the Florida Mall as well, they always have an offer ie 3 for $20! You need a lot of time for the big Premium Outlet on I Drive as it has some satellite buildings as well. Also down the road a bit is Festival Bay. Now I understand that its not so good now (well it was never wonderful) but they have or at least had a few different stores one of which is a cowboy shop and also a massive t-shirt shop and one called Outdoor World. Ron Jon Surf shop is there also... then as you come out of Festival Bay, straight across the road are some more outlets and I think there is another Old Navy Outlet plus a TJ maxx..:)

We tend to do a lot of shopping!!!!!!!

edited...just looked up Festival Bay....not sure its open now! Oh well.

we always go to the old navy store at florida mall

another good spot for shopping is sears (florida mall). In february we had great sales over there. We got ourselves Ts, very good quality and really cheap. DW also bought herself some Levi's blue jean's.
We signed up for their rewards program, and by the time our vacation ended, we had earned a $10 gift card we gladly spent on last minute shopping (you also get macy's and jc penney at florida mall)

another place we shopped was at Super Target on 192 (east of I4). It may not sound so glamorous compared to those outlet brands, but we found some nice and cheap clothes. We even bought a brand new suitcase there as we had too much junk to get home :)

We go out with a suitcase each as good as empty and come back with two each plus loads of hand luggage just over the limit!!! VA are pretty good on the way back if you are slightly over:)
Having said that sometimes we just don't find or want anything..that makes for a some what cheaper holiday:rotfl:

Is the Premier mall at I-drive what used to be called Belz outlet:confused3 If so I loved that place i always used to buy all my dance wear there like Danskin tights ballet shoes and loads of outfits I just couldnt get in the Uk (well not at a good price) plus the Nike store was always so cheap!

The last 2 times we have been we havent made it because when we got in the taxi and asked for the outlets they have taken us to the ones nearest to Disney "not too sure where" but I think they are Prem outlets too just Nowhere nr as big as what Belz was and not as cheap either!

We like the loop, we found in in 2008 and it had just started to open but went back last year and still good
