where online does it show that I added DDP?

I called & waited the 25 mintues to add the dining plan. I have been looking in My Disney experience and on my DVC, and cannot see it has been added. Does it not show up until overnight update, or has it been removed from the site, like the ability to add it online has been removed? Should I receive an email stating it was added?

Thank you for the quick reply. I thought I always saw it online in the past. (I don't get it every trip, so may be remembering wrong.) I know i used to add it online, and had some "proof" in writing--an email or something.
The CM didn't give a confirmation number, and I didn't ask for one, so I have no proof. Paid for it with a Disney gift card, not credit card, so don't even have the credit card transaction record. Never needed one, but I am uneasy not being able to see a trail.

When we added the dining plan to our DVC reservation in April we got a new email confirmation that showed the dining plan, but it took about a day to arrive, I can't remember if it showed up in MDE or not.

Thank you. Yes, the email finally came. The CM seemed kind of new, and having a few troubles, but nice. I am still relieved to have it in writing.
 
I added the dining plan this morning, it took about 30 minutes for me to get the email.
 
I don't see ours on MDE, but on the DVC site, go to the reservation (dashboard, then my reservations), click on the reservation, then view/modify details. hth
