What part of the car would be most likely to stay dry? I'm Taking my 61 year old mother and I want to convince her she won't get wet so she will go on with me.

There is no guarantee. I've sat in several different places and sometimes get a little wet, and sometimes get very wet. I tried sitting right in the middle and still got quite wet---mainly just my head and top though.

Back row in the middle seems to be the best spot.
You'll get a little water on your shirt, but it's no where near a soaking.

Yep, that was what I was going to suggest. Better yet, wear a rain pancho.

Try getting a boat that is not full in the back. It seemed like the fuller the boat, and the more weight in the boat, the wetter you got. We road with just our family of 4 in the front, and 2 people behind us, and we barely had a drop of water on us.

This works pretty good with a full boat because heads in front of you take the splash. I've rode in the back seat with only 2 other people sitting in the front seat and got quite wet. They advise you not to do it, but right after the picture I duck over the lap bar and cover my head with my hands which has been very successful. :umbrella:

We went on yesterday, and we were in row 4 , in a not so full boat. We got a few drops on shoulder and hair, but other than that, nothing

I hate getting wet on any rides so I've always tried to find little ways of keeping dry.

On Jurassic Park, sit in the back row, and when the drop comes, you can still pose for the picture, but then duck down as fast as you can and just hide behind the lapbar.

I agree, Back row in the middle. Rode it twice while we were there and barely got a drizzle!

We always go on Jurassic as soon as it opens, often in the off season with cold weather.
We wear the disposable ponchos you can get at Walwart for under $1. Dont ride in a full boat if possible, pull the poncho down as you sit so your seat doesn't get wet and pull the hood over your head and HANG on to it when you go down the hill. We always sit in the front row and the only thing that gets wet is your face and your arms. By getting wet I mean a good mist, not a soaking rain

I sat in the back row, middle with a full boat and stayed perfectly dry.

I always sit in the front row, throw up my hands, and open my mouth real wide.......OK, I like to get wet.
