Okay so looking ahead to the end of next March for our first DVC trip. Thinking about dining plan, thinking about ADR's, thinking about my 10 year old and how he would do on an adult menu.....

My 6 year old daughter probably eats a wider variety than her brother so we may be switching around meals a bit.

Anyway, was thinking the following for our 6 night trip:

Sunday- Counter service for late lunch ( no flights made yet). DTD or Olivia's for dinner ( we are at OKW)

Monday- Water park am and Disney quest in the pm. Raglan Road or Cap N Jacks for dinner

Tuesday- Epcot- Le Cellier followed by Illuminations

Wed- MK- somewhere in the Grand Floridian followed by Gasparilla games to watch Wishes

Th- Hollywood Studios- Fantasmic Package at Hollywood and Vine

Fri- Animal Kindgom......no clue.

Sat- We go home after a water park morning.

There are 6 of us traveling, DH, myself, DS-14, DS-10, DS-8 and DD-6 at time of travel. DH and DS's are picky, DD and I will eat anything.

Thoughts?

Consider Boma for dinner on your AK day. We think it's the best on-site buffet and you get to see the AKL with it's animals to boot. All WDW buffets, including Boma, have a kids section with standard fare (mac & cheese, chicken, etc...), so everyone can find something to his/her liking.

:thumbsup2 I agree! A huge selection, with great choices!

How easy is it to get to AKL from AK then back to OKW? That is my only concern, we do not plan on renting a car.

Will picky DH be okay there? Not so worried about the kids but DH likes his food on the plain side..

While Boma does have some exotic dishes, there's plenty for the non-adventerous eater too. Their prime rib is considered by some to be the best on property. As to transportation after dinner. You can take a bus to DTD or any open park and transfer to a bus to OKW. The quickest and most convenient method would be to spend a few $ and take a cab.
