A few people have commented taht they haven't seen me around these parts lately. Sorry!!
I thought it may be easier to just give you a bit of a "Me" rundown rather than repeating the same info over and over! LOL
Firstly little Will came into our lives at the start of December and is a happy, healthy baby boy. His mum and dad are over the moon and he is very spoilt by his many grandparents, aunts and uncles. He was the star attraction on Christmas Day morning with all of us fighting to feed him Christmas dinner!
Just over a week after his birth me and Scott took a trip to the south coast for a few days (we go down every December as a friend of ours hosts charity concerts - he was in a band years ago.) Whilst we were down there Scott proposed on the beach, a special place for us. We're now in full wedding planning mode with a few bits sorted (cake, favors, venue) and lots more to do. I'm loving dress shopping!
My January exams came and went, I found out a few weeks ago that I passed my latest course. I'm with a distance learning university (they mail out my books and I mail my work to tutors I never see). This allows me to stop and start as I choose so I've decided to take a short break until May to allow me to focus on other things and have some "me time" as I was beginning to suffer from mild stress that was making me ill.
The number one "other thing" is learning to drive, which I finally began last week after years of telling myself I would. I've had 4 hours on the road now and am settling into it faster than I thought I would (I'm normally a very nervous person.) I can now go up to second gear, 30 miles an hour and turn left - although not at the same time!!! We are looking at getting me a little car to practise in that will be mine once I've passed my tests. I'm looking forward to getting my first aerial topper at WDW in October as Scott refuses to have one on the family car!
Our October trip to the USA is planned out with the first 4 nights in Las Vegas (my first trip there and I'll be celebrating my 21st within a few hours of arriving), then 2 nights in Anaheim (first time for any of us) followed by an overnight flight to Orlando and 8 nights at the Beach Club Villas! This will be our first time on property and we're all really excited at using Magical Express, EMH and the Dining Plan. The last bit of our trip is booking our ADR's, I'm waiting for the announcemets of the EMH schedule and MNSSHP schedule to plan our itinerary. I'm going with Scott and his parents as we all get on like a house on fire!
Well I think that's all my laundry aired!
Hope that catches you all up and I hope I haven't bored you!
