Where is your favorite place to stay offsite

Check out Bonnet Creek Resort through Ken Price at vacationupgrades.com.

Beautiful resort next door to the Caribbean Beach Club. Multiple pools and lazy rivers and free mini golf for the kids.

This! We have stayed on site SO many times...then we tried Bonnet Creek. Now we're hooked! We we are booking again for Christmas with Ken.

Also, another really great option is Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. Tons of free activities for the kids, wonderful atmosphere for the adults, and it's right around the corner for DTD. It can be pricey, but if you can find a good rate through Expedia or somewhere like that, it's very worth the snag.

Thanks to all of you, I am getting a BONUS trip over Spring Break. I booked a 3 BR, 3 bath townhouse at Windsor Hills and am THRILLED! I wasn't planning on going until summer, but will be going now over Spring Break. And, I'll be taking a "Disney Virgin" with me (my bf)---

WOOHOO! I am so excited and thankful for this board!!!

When we do "Disney" we prefer to stay on site (like that whole immersion into Disney feel).

When we are doing other things in Orlando (SW, etc), my current favorite hotel is the Rosen Shingle Creek. This isn't very close to Disney (closer to the I-Drive attractions/convention center area), plus it isn't really very "family/disney" at all, but we have really enjoyed it each time we have stayed there.

Bringing out the pom poms for Hilton Bonnet Creek! I highly recommend it. Look at the reviews on Trip Advisor.:cheer2:

If I have to go very budget and can't stay at a certain chain on points, I like to find a Doubletree. I just make sure that they're in a useful area.

My kids loved the nick hotel. They had some bad reviews online and I am used to staying in 5 star hotels thru the great deals of priceline in the past. I hear priceline is not so great anymore. Anyway I do not recommend the nick hotel at the busiest seasons. Just because it was way to crowded and no pool chairs avail(crazy right).

However the kids had a blast the whole time. and I enjoyed my self after labor day when the crowds left. Then it wsa quiet , plenty of pool chairs and activity filled for the kids . they did Nick shows, 3 D movies, characters shows and got slimed. They loved the water park and pool table. We stayed there right before a disney cruise (which they loved and another resort stay(Ron Jon) and they just loved loved loved the nick hotel. The room was clean and fine. Not luxurious but def fine. We usually stay onsite at Disney or at universal if we are going to the universal park (so we dont have to wait on line) but the nick hotel was a gret change as far as the kids were concerned.
