I used to love going to the Natural Science and Industry Museum in Chicago. Haven't been there in years.....I hope it's still there. :)

Love the Musuem of Natural History in Manhattan. Been there twice and still haven't seen it all.

IN D.C.

It was the Smithsonian Museum of Art.... which really surprised me. When my wife suggested going there I tried to talk her out of it. Not sure if that is the correct name.

I also love the Sci and Ind in Chicago, but I really love the Shedd Aquarium...
Then there is the Field Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Art Museum....
I could go on an on, Chicago just has a lot of awesome museums.

Musee D'Orsay in Paris
British Museum in London
Natural History Museum in London
Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York
Musee de Louvre in Paris
National Gallery in London

I love museums...

Any one of the Smithsonians at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. I am a true nerd at heart.

Me too!! We went twice in two days and didn't see it all. My favorite area thus far is the marine life hall. DS is 6 and loves it there as well. I think we just might venture to the city this weekend :flower:

The Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence, Italy--the home of Michelangelo's David .

I love the one in Victoria B.C. It is called the Royal B.C. Museum and is right in downtown Victoria. If you ever have the chance to go there it is awesome. (so is the city)

It is still there. It's a wonderful place and my favorite museum! It's undergone some major renovations in the past 5 or 6 years.

The Art Institute in Chicago (my favorite haunt when I lived in Chicago)
The Tate Gallery in London
The McNay Galleries in San Antonio (beautiful architecture, great library)
MOMA in New York

If you haven't been there in a while you should go check it out you will be surprised!!!  It is about that time of year for us to make our trip up on the Amtrak for our anniversary... we go every year since anniversary #1......now were at #19 :earboy2: you should also check out the new park next to the art museum-

WOuld have to be my hometown bias of Chicago. Art Institute, Sci and Ind, Field Museum, and Shedd Aquarium. They have a great museum campus.

I also love the Met in NYC, among others in this city.

The Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village in Deerborn, MI.

We went to the Holocaust museum in D.C. when I was in 8th grade. It was very interesting. I loved it. It was a huge reality check though. It really made me realize that there are/were people that have had it worse than I have.

The Museum of Science and Industry and The Field Museum in Chicago.

We once got to stay overnight at Science and Industry, it was a very cool experience!!

National Portrait Gallery in London.
Orsay in Paris
National Gallery London
The British Museum
Rodin Museum, Paris
Museo Luis de Camoes, Macau (sadly, no longer there! integrated into another museum)
