Where is the Umbrella at DHS?

Last year when we went, I had it in the back of my mind to see the Mary Poppins Umbrella at DHS. Then while going through our day, I completely forgot to mention it. Now I can't remember where it's supposed to be. Does anyone know where it's at? Also does it still "rain" on you? If so, how do you activate that? Thanks for your help.

Do you mean the Singing in the Rain umbrella????

If so ... The Singing in the Rain umbrella is in the Streets of America section of Disney's Hollywood Studios, facing the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show area. When you stand under the umbrella, it triggers rain that falls down over the umbrella.

There is a horse used in Mary Poppins located in the ride queue of The Great Movie Ride.

Below is a picture of me under it, working in Aug. 2009. You have to step on the pad on the sidewalk to make it work. It does take some weight to make it work, both my daughters had to step on it to get it to work for them.

I remember trying to get it to work. It took us a good 10mins before another family came and there daughter stepped on the thing and we was amazed lol.

Like mentioned, make sure to stand on the black square to make it "rain".

Wow, I wish I had known that a week ago. I've looked for this umbrella on our last three trips, and I just found it last week. I took a picture, pulled on the handle.. no rain!

I was bummed in December when we weren't able to see it since it was all tied up with the Osborne Lights. Granted I love the Osborne Lights! I was just bummed that we couldn't really see it! One of my favorite spots in DHS!
