Okay, I suppose this is a strange question, but why can't you ever find ranch dressing at the parks.

You can find ketchup and mustard, salt and pepper, and sometimes even mayo, but never any ranch dressing anywhere.

What can I say.....I love salads, but not with the whatever kind of dressing that comes on the pre-made salads they serve at the parks.

DH and our kids love to dip their chicken strips in ranch dressing. They can't be the only ones that do that, right?:confused3

What about the carrot/celery sticks that come with kids meals.....don't they include ranch dressing with those? Are they just served plain?

Is it really that difficult to get the single serving ranch dressing containers and include them with the other condiments?

Okay, little peeve of mine. I'm done complaining about it now.:goodvibes However, I'm adding Ranch dressing packets to my "What to bring with us to WDW list".

You can get packets of dressing, including ranch at Pizza Planet at MGM (at the condiments table). Have you asked at the counter service areas?

We always asked and received green packets of (forgot the brand name) ranch dressing. It was quite good as well.

As far as TS, I don't know. But I'm with you, I'm not a fan of weird dressings.

I think it's Newman's Own. I don't recall which flavor it was, but one of the dressings at Pizza Planet was the fat free variety. I think they also had Bleu Cheese dressing; I was surprised to see it!

Oh, this is GOOD to know! I've never eaten there, but I'll definately be making a stop there in December! Thanks so much for this info!:thumbsup2

You've got to be kidding right? :rotfl: If they left the ranch dressing out with the condiments - people would have all they need to make their own salads at the fixin bar. :rotfl2:

People have been known to use the fixin bars as a meal substitute. :rotfl2:

I had a salad at Pecos, Flame Tree, and Backlot, not knowing that each place served their salads with the EXACT same tasteless vinaigrette dressing, and when I asked for ranch dressing, none of them had any. This time I will be prepared.:)

Sorry, but I don't remember seeing a "fixin bar" at any of the places we ate at that had anything other than condiments, salt, pepper, utensils, and napkins.

I guess it's true that people could do that, but I don't remember seeing any veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, onions) at the condiments bar at any of the CS restaurants that we visited, although it was our first time there so maybe we just missed it?

You sound like me - my son will eat almost anything as long as it has ranch dressing on it.

When we were there in Dec (weather was not hot) I grabbed a few packets when available at CS places and saved them for when needed...don't know that I'd be doing that in the summer though without a cooler.

I remember, years ago, that the american counter service at Epcot had a huge fixin' bar. My mom and I were totally guilty of making a little side salad to go with our burgers and fries. I remember it had all the extras you could possibly want to go on a burger. It was awesome. (This was also over ten years ago, so I'm sure it's changed since then)

They have this at Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays.

Yep, that's it. Newman's Own.

I'm not a food safety czar or anything but wouldn't the dressings have to be chilled and not just out on a condiment table all day long? That could be why you have to ask for them and they are behind the counter.

They are sealed. They don't have to be refrigerated for safety sake. They just taste better cold. Look at the grocery store. They are on the shelf, not in the refigerated section.

I agree though, Disney needs more ranch dressing and less "fancy" dressings.
