Where is the Cove Bar?

We are here at Disney and really wanted to try the Lobster Nachos but nobody here can tell us where the Cove Bar is. Can anyone help us?

I believe it is upstairs from Ariel's Grotto in DCA. Let me know how they are...

It's in DCA, at Ariel's Grottto. Instead of going downstairs to the restaurant just continue through the door to the outside bar area. The bar itself doesn't open until 3:00, I believe. We had drinks and BBQ Pizza there last night.

the chef there is REALLY good... i actually seen him work and he is crazy good cook. makes me starving just watchin him work...

We were there in July and I am pretty sure they opened at 1 pm.

When you go in the door to Ariel's Grotto, bypass the Hostess and go up the stairs to your right to the Cove Bar. Although, the Hostess will tell you when they open and if they are seating.

We love the Lobster Nachos and they are HUGE so plan on sharing. My hubby put the fork on the plate for size reference and it's not a salad fork. LOL

Thanks all! Its great you can take children. We were wondering that too.

Funny people on the DIS know more than the people who work in the park. We asked more than once because this one thing we wanted to try for sure and we knew it existed.

I LOVE those lobster nachos! (Ordered without the beans though) I am planning a daytrip for this coming Friday, and I wanted to try some new foods, but I may have to put this back on the list.

Just a warning though... I have been sunburned more than once while I relaxed with a drink and snack at the Cove. Try to get a table with a little shade, and make sure you have sunscreen on

Just wanted to bump this thread, to ask... if anyone knows the hours of the Cove Bar, and if it is open 7 days a week?

The hours seem to be spotty. I haven't gotten a schedule out of anyone, but they've told me, basically, if you walk by and it's open and umbrellas are out, go on in. If no one's there, don't.

Two different places! White Water Snacks is located at the GCH. If you exit DCA through the GCH entrance/exit, go through the hallway and turn left. Voila! White Water Snacks.

I asked once at Areil's and was told the Cove Bar is only open on the weekends.
