Where is the best Creme Brulee

To be fair that isn't necessarily true. Because of the way the sugar is carmalized some folks think it tastes burnt regardless of how well it's done. My mother for one, will turn her nose up at even the most perfect renditions because the sugar tastes burnt to her.

It's similar to the way my gf says that meat that is char grilled always tastes burnt to her - yet most folks love it...

So the poster with the burnt creme may just be one of those people with a palate that tastes the crust as burnt regardless.

On the other hand - Chef De France may have just messed it up. :confused3

NO, it is not supposed to taste burnt...you had some bad brulee.

True Creme Brulee is a custard style....my FAV dessert of all time!

UNFORTUNATELY creme brulee in WDW is all a pudding consistency. Not my fav.

Le Chefs had the best flavor (vanilla bean flecks); but I couldn't get past the consistency anywhere....:guilty:

Fav dessert at WDW was bread pudding at Ohanas, followed closely by almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosees. Actually the key lime tart at Sunshine Seasons was pretty tasty, too...otherwise desserts did not impress me.
