Where is the best COLD sandwich at Disney?

on the last day of my three trips to WDW, I have stopped at the Main St Bakery in the MK. They have excellent turkey sandwiches and ham and cheese as well. Add some chips, and of course, fresh baked toll house cookies. We've been the envy of many fellow passengers on our flight home and it's been enough to keep us all comfortable on the long trip back to Oregon! :goodvibes

Thanks, y'all. I'm trying to decide the best place to pick up sandwiches for our drive home. I figured I could buy them and then wrap them up tight in saran wrap for lunch the following day. I figure I'll probably have at least a couple of meal credits left over per person, and this would be the perfect way to use them.

Great idea! While I love the sandwiches at CHH, as others have mentioned above, I don't know that they would wrap and keep as well. The veggie and hummus one in particular is a wet sandwich (if that makes sense), and I think you'll find horribly soggy bread if you wrap it up to save for a day. :) I would go with something that has a firmer cheese and a sliced meat instead of a salad-ish sandwich like the CHH ones. Have fun!

Not sure of the name, but there is a great sandwich shop in Norway in Epcot. It's small but the food is great and they take DDP CS credit:)

I had a great ham and cheese sandwich at the Contempo Cafe. Hubby has had the cold sandwich from Sunshine Seasons and thought it was good. I believe Starring Rolls Bakery also makes some sandwiches that look pretty good in pictures
Starring Rolls in DHS is awesome!

Another vote for the hummus sandwich at Columbia Harbour House. It's my favorite item at my favorite counter service location in the theme parks!

Boulangerie Patisserie in the France pavillion in Epcot has wonderful sandwiches on fresh baguettes. And they're HUGE. I got a turkey and cheese last year and my dad got ham and cheese. The sandwich was enough for my mom and I to share. The baguettes are amazing! I have already told my family that we will be having a QS lunch there in July. Cannot wait!

Our favorite sandwiches are:

Turkey sandwich from Captain Cooks at the Poly

Italian Sandwich from Pizzafari at AK (it has caesar salad on it instead of lettuce!)

Any sandwich from the Main St. Bakery

I am not a fan of the sandwiches are Starring Rolls. I think they look great in pictures but I find the meat to be slimey

I've had a really good cold Italian type of sandwich on ciabatta bread at Sunshine Seasons. They also had the same sandwich at the AsMovies food court and I think I've seen it other places, as well. Still, it tastes fresh!

Earl of Sandwich - amazing! It is a great change from a lot of the standard counter service food. It is on our must-do list when we go to WDW.

We bought sandwiches at the Earl of Sandwich to eat on the drive home. We ate them later in the day. They were very good. They held up just fine. Infact, because they were a hot sandwich, they breathed in the paper wrapping. They hit room temperature, but they never got soggy. Cold sandwiches can sometimes get soggy...

Another option though are the sandwiches at the Marketplace at Beach Club. They are premade, if I remember correctly, and are already sealed in saran wrap. We took those for a plane ride once. They traveled great. I got a roast beef with brie that was super tasty. I can't remember what DH got.

the veggie at the plaza - YUM!

PS - I am not even a vegatarian!

Definitely the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House in the MK. However, I would recommend anything at Wolfgang Puck Cafe!

either of the sandwiches at sunshine seasons, then you can get one of their desserts!!!!
