Where is the best Character Breakfast?

Depends upon who you want to see!

Really - Princesses, Pooh, Donald, Mickey, Alice, Handy Manny? Who's the priority to see? Character meals are about who you and the rest of your party want to see the most.

True! It all depends on the characters your family likes best. Are there children in your party? How old? What characters do they like?

My DS11 & I have a lot of faves:

Tusker House (breakfast...but character lunch is also available to book now)
Cape May (characters only at breakfast)
1900 PF (breakfast)
Ohana (breakfast)
Crystal Palace (any)......yes, we love breakfast as you can see!

I know Im not much help, :lmao:but I would base your decision on 1) characters you wanna see 2) which park your going to visit that day. Cause if you plan on going to AK, then going to Ohana that day makes no sense at all. Know what i mean? :upsidedow

Sorry, i guess i do need to provide a bit more info, my bad
we will have our 2yo son with us.

I was thinking cape may, or 1900, since we want to go to epcot that day I think

The only one we still enjoy both for food and Character interaction is Tusker house! 8:15ADR's, 1st get FP's for the safari, check-in, have a wonderfully fresh breakfast and then head off to do the safari!

If seeing Mickey is a must, we personally like Chef Mickey's and haven't had some of the problems at breakfast that others seem to bring up. However, the 2 you mentioned, Cape May and 1900 PF, are our 2 favorite character meals. Cape May tends to be more relaxed than other character meals but can be a bit of a pain to get to if you're relying on Disney transportation. 1900 PF has some great character interaction. I guess it really comes down to, would your 2 year old rather see Minnie, Donald and Goofy (in beachware) or Mary Poppins, Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger (the connection between them is they all take place in England)?

Note that characters are subject to change without notice.

Well, for our family food wise we love Chef Mickey's and The Crystal Palace. For characters our favorite is Akershus for the princesses and again Chef Mickey's because we love Mickey and the gang. We also really like Tusker House and Cape May as well. Honestly we love all the character breakfasts for so many different reasons:)

Character Breakfast Favorites!

Chef Mickey's - Mickey!
Tusker House - Donald!
Crystal Palace - Pooh & the Gang!
Ohana - Stitch!
1900 Park Fare - Loved Mad Hatter!
Cape May - Love the Beach Wear

To us all the Character Breakfast's have similar foods. I prefer the buffets to the family style at Ohana's but my husband loves Ohana!

We really can't pick a favorite but if you plan to go to Epcot. I would say Cape May (1st choice) and 1900 park fare (2nd choice) for me. You can ride the Monorail to Epcot from Park Fare and at Cape May you can walk the walkway which is nice because you get to see all the beautiful scenery.

:goodvibes

We are going to be staying at cornado springs, how hard will it be to get to cape may for breakfast? would wee have to cab it?

no one has emphatically said Tusker - DSB - it's one of the better meals on property, a must do for us every trip

Food is outstanding. Good character interaction, and the African flavor/atmosphere.

It really depends on what time ADR you get and how early you are willing to leave your room to get to breakfast. If you plan on using Disney transportation, the easiest way to get there is to take a bus to DHS and then either take the boat or walk to BC. I would try to be at your bus stop at least 75 minutes before your ADR time, especially if you have an early ADR. If traveling that long first thing in the morning is not your cup of tea, have bell services get you a cab. It'll probably run you $15-$20 or so, but you won't have to leave quite as early. Also, if you get one of the first ADR's of the morning, I would suggest taking a taxi because transportation does not run as frequently first thing in the morning.
