Where is the best breakfast buffet??

Just curious about where to go for a breakfast buffet, preferably non-character...will be staying at PCR in May.

imo they are all pretty much the same so i go for the cheapest, Trail's end( not a fan of brfst buffets in general but hubby is) lots like Boma but imo it offers only a few more choices for more money. if you love to pack it in, Boma may be worth it for you, it just isn't for us.( and it's not exotic so that killed that reason to go for me )

I like 1900 Park Fare and that is a character one. we are both adults and that didn't bother us, it wasn't loud at all, that is a plus for me. I am not a big fan of buffets but I did like it

We really enjoyed Chef Mickey for breakfast. We went to the last seating and found that worked really well for us. Food was fresh and yummy. Character interaction was great.

1900 Park Fair. We have eaten at most and like this one the best.

Boma has made-to-order omelettes!! SO yummy!

I love Fresh at the Dolphin! Made to order food, Starbucks coffee and not a character in sight!

The Crystal Palace, it is character, but the food is so fresh. They have a very large selection too. This is a must do for my family!

We like Crystal Palace. Its such a beautiful building and the food is very good. If you can arrange to get an ADR before the MK opens its really a great experience to be on Main Street when its empty.

My family and I love Boma breakfast. Made to order omelets and some african dishes. Their breakfast juice, Frunch, is delicious. They also have cold cereals, fresh fruit and pastries. I think is a fabulous breakfast.

Go to Boma. It is the best meal we had all week, and if you have never been tho the AKL it is really a neat place to see. The buffet is by far the best! Don't miss this breakfast!!!!!

Last trip we had breakfast at Crystal Palace, Boma, and Trails End.

Crystal Palace - Great quality and value. Service was only so-so, and I can do without the characters. But the food was very good, and being in the MK is so fun. Next time we'll go at 8:00 am to begin our day. We went at 10:30 this time as a break. It was OK, but we were still kind of full at dinner!

Trails End - Food was decently good, but not as fresh as CP. We went at 11:00 am so that might be a reason. Service was excellent! I will definitely go back, but not necessarily for breakfast if I'm not staying at the WL or MK area.

Boma - This was a disappointment, since I heard so many rave reviews. The food was just so typical, very little 'exotic' items. The frunch was not that special either. Service was poor. Wanted to charge it to our room, but she was so slow we ended up just leaving cash so we didn't have to wait for her to get back. If you are staying at the AKL by all means try it, but not worth the effort of getting there from else where in the resort.
