stupid question I am sure....where is SSR going to be

Not going to be, but is located right across the water from Downtown Disney. It is where the old Disney Institute and Vacation Fillas were located. It runs kind of parallel to area from Cirque du Soleil to Rainforest Cafe, but across the water.
