Haha why does Disney always change up menus and many times not for the better!

That same might be said for some attractions.

I am trying to get an ADR for Celebration at the Top.

I have wanted to do this forever. Need to look in to that.

Jaleo Sangria Hour (this is a great deal, it is at the bar and the tapas are 1/2 off along with the house made Sangria)

October is the BEST! Halloween decor on Main Street, F&W, cooler temps.

This one picture is funny because I knew there was only going to be the two of us in the front row and this kid chose to sit right next to me, haha I figured he was scared and needed a mom like figure to make him less nervous!

I also think it will be open for Liesa and I in October!

I booked Stella Nova for Saturday night because Helios literally jumped from $350 (which I paid for Friday) to $650 on Saturday night, no way.

I arrived at AK around 8:30 and headed to my favorite ride ever Dinosaur.

Hello there! It is time to start my next day. Today was Saturday 5/24 and it was an AK morning!

I had 3 FP$$ to start with. NRJ, Safari, and Dinosaur. I also had a fancy FP$$ for FoP. I had a banana with cold brew before heading out. I honestly didn’t know where the bus stop was for this area and never used it once haha I called for a Lyft and literally left my room walked down one flight of stairs to the parking area and waited for my Lyft.

I arrived at AK around 8:30 and headed to my favorite ride ever Dinosaur. I rode several times including using my FP$.

I will just put this one picture in since I know you all have seen me on Dinosaur many times

I enjoyed my couple rides on Dinosaur and bid the ride a farewell until my next trip, thank goodness it will still be open for Andi and I and I also think it will be open for Liesa and I in October!

I did something after tapping into Dinosaur, I booked a FP$ for Peter Pan and I also canceled my Safari, “I know” don’t judge I picked up a Jungle Cruise as well, yay! My plan was an evening in MK. I decided to take a walk on both trails here instead of the Safari. I’m lucky to have been on Safari many times so it wasn’t a big loss to me today.

I headed off to both trails which had just recently opened and took my time enjoying the gorillas , Meerkats, Hippos, Kimodo Dragon, Bats, water Buffalo and ended with a delightful viewing of Bakso and his mom.

I was going to make my way to Pandora and was in Asia so I headed to the front and there was Russell with a very short line, maybe one group ahead of me when I jumped in the line. Dug was busy chasing squirrels, I guess, because it was just Russell.

I had a wonderful visit with him, I complimented him on all his Wilderness Explorer Badges! He was quite proud!

I said goodbye to Russell and made my way into Pandora.

It was the time for my NRJ ride. I tapped in and made another FP$ at MK for Pirates!

I really like NRJ however I was squished in the seat with two large men, ugh I did notice several times this trip as a solo rider I was put with another person on rides they normally don’t do that. I had a stranger with me on Pirates, FEA (uncomfortable), NRJ, and LwtL, why? I didn’t say anything but I have never been put with other people on these rides except NRJ.

All were single rider men as well, just weird in my opinion.

At least the Shaman was working at the end of NRJ.

I got a few photos in Pandora and decided to eat at Satuli Canteen right around 10:30 or so! I mobile ordered the kids hot dog meal, which I love with the vegetable chips and a cutie. I chose Diet Coke as my drink along with ice water.

I have to say since I didn’t mention it yet, it was boiling hot ! I did sit inside to enjoy the air conditioning.

I decided to do a little shopping before heading out. I found a really cute Winnie the Pooh shirt. I will show it to you in my next post. I love it It is a light and airy button down with Pooh and Friends on it.

I waited in line for a picture at the Tree of Life, the CM was awesome doing the photos and she did several magic shots for me!

I worked my way out of the park after checking out all the stores in this area. AK stores are my favorite to look in.

Once outside of the park, I ordered up a Lyft to take me back to my room.

I wanted to chill for a few hours before heading into MK.

Highlights-Dinosaur, walking the trails, meeting Russell, getting some nice pictures, my kid’s meal, FoP, and finding my new shirt to name o few.

Lowlights-Having to share a boat row with several large men, “I’m surprised they didn’t try to put someone on the back of my cycle on FoP! It was very hot with minimal air conditioning in some of the lines. That is it!

Stay tuned for me afternoon/evening in MK

I definitely prefer the trails to the safari--maybe because I've ridden it so many times? Not sure, but I think you made a good choice there!

You really did get some great photo pass pictures in AK. When I saw the Dinosaur photo my first thought was "who is that sitting so close to Caroline?" You have me worried about my alone park touring coming up next week. I hope I'm not squished into rides too. It's just to hot for that. I don't mind sharing a ride but not too close.

Love your tank top. It's so colorful and looks great with your shorts.

The last, and only, time we did free dining was at least ten years ago. I was a fanatic about getting my money's worth

It will feel like a new experience for me since it has been so long. It really does not work for me and Andi I think we always spend less than we would with the DDP. I know the “free” is really not quite that but it will be fun not worrying about a food budget this time around!

We also have a trip in October, the 20th to 25th. It is a great time of the year. The hottest weather is usually over with by then.

Our dates do overlap, maybe we can meet up and say hi The several October trips we have done the weather has been pretty perfect

That's a smart way to do it. The AK MPLL is the cheapest one. And you can use it for LL's in any park later in the day.

It was a good use of FP$$, AK is the cheapest by far! It is a good plan to buy it if you plan to hop to MK in the evening!

That must have been fun to watch. We still haven't seen him yet.

He is so cute and really playful. His mom puts up with him jumping on her! I loved watching him play in the water.

We went to The Lion King Show just to cool off when we were there.

I’m excited! I have been researching and notice “sneaky” Disney has made quite a few restaurants 2 credits. I know some of these use to be 1 credit! I love the BFP acronym! I’m deep into for my late August trip!

I love the trails. It is lovely in the morning when the trails first open! You can take your time and enjoy it at your own pace!

We really do! I think I have all my tickets bought now! USO with HHN and Epic is expensive, with all the add ons! It is worth it for us to have EP so I did buy it for HHN and Epic!

“Wow this is a lovely surprise”

After my cool down in the room, I took the Skyliner over to Riviera and waited for a bus to MK. I wore my new WtP shirt this evening.



I love Riviera’s bus stop, it is never crowded. A MK bus showed up within 10 minutes and I hopped on with a few other people.

It was threatening rain once I arrived at MK. I had my poncho and put it on after security. It started spitting a little rain and by the time I got on Main Street the sky was opening up. I ducked into the confectionery and made my way to the next store. This store has purses, clothes and Pandora jewelry towards the back.

Well to my surprise, the Dapper Dans started singing in this store. It was a wonderful way to wait out the rain.

I sent a video to Susan @suse66 so she could enjoy a little 30 seconds of the music.

The rain was letting up so I ventured out. The Starbucks was actually quiet. I took this time to grab a Strawberry Açaí Refresher. I took my drink and headed to Jungle Cruise. I drank my refresher before getting on the boat for my 3 week cruise The skipper was fine, nothing great but still a fun cruise.

I had made a HM FP$ once I tapped in for JC. My next ride was PotC, I did ask for row 1 and thank goodness this time they didn’t try to seat someone with me. I had to request waiting for front by myself otherwise I think the plan would have been row 3 with another single rider, ugh

I love this ride! It remains a top ride at WDW for me. I know I have probably said this before but my top 5 WDW rides have to be Dinosaur, PotC, HM, PPF, and SE! What are yours? I was gutted again recently when I found out SE will be closed for our late summer trip! Andi was really sad as was I.

I decided to watch the new Country Bear show. I love the new show, I know some do not care for it. I was tapping my feet and singing along. I watched the other guests and I could see many enjoying the show clapping, singing, and tapping their feet.

I had good timing and walked out to a mini character parade. I saw Chip and Dale, Big Al, and Clarabell. This is always a fun time to see spontaneous parades like this.

PPF was up next, love this ride! I had a very minimal wait with my FP$ and no extra guests in my pirate ship.

I was heading over to Tomorrow Land next. My first ride was PM, I got a picture of Tron light cycles buzzing by! I love this attraction, definitely in my top 10 at WDW. PM not Tron!


Next was my ride on Buzz. I was shocked the CM didn’t try to add another guest in my ride vehicle. I’m running with this theme!

I look happy even with a very dismal score! No Galactic Hero here!

My next stop was CoP, I noticed new seats in the theater. I really liked the colors. Stupid 10 picture limit so I can’t post the seat here but will add it in a post below so you can all see the new seats.

I headed to HM next. Such a great attraction to end my MK evening.

I love this ride!

Once I rode with the 999 ghosts, I said goodbye to MK until next time.


My plan was to take the monorail over to the Poly for one of my favorite QS meals

Topped with Cheese, Spicy Mayonnaise, Pico de Gallo, and Pineapple Salsa

I love these nachos! I mobile ordered once I hit the Poly and spent some time walking around the resort waiting on my order. Once my order was ready, I got it to go and ordered up a Lyft back to my room.

I enjoyed my dinner in the room watching some true crime drama.

I had a wonderful evening at MK. You know what, being solo is alright

I was gutted again recently when I found out SE will be closed for our late summer trip! Andi was really sad as was I.

I decided to watch the new Country Bear show. I love the new show, I know some do not care for it.

As August draws closer my heart is heavy as I think about not going to my happy place. Ugh, I know this is only for a season and I will be back again but I do feel sad about it all.

I love this ride! It remains a top ride at WDW for me. I know I have probably said this before but my top 5 WDW rides have to be Dinosaur, PotC, HM, PPF, and SE! What are yours?

Pirates ride is aways a "must do". So is Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, People Mover and a bunch of other rides.

I decided to watch the new Country Bear show. I love the new show,

We enjoy the new show, too. I think the music is fun.

Next was my ride on Buzz. I was shocked the CM didn’t try to add another guest in my ride vehicle. I’m running with this theme!

I'm not surprised that you rode this alone. This is such a fast-moving ride that they often can't load a vehicle before it moves too far away.

I had a wonderful evening at MK. You know what, being solo is alright

A solo rider gets to avoid the question of what to do next. You just get to do it.

I've been trolling DFB and the options at The Springs are dismal. Only a few on the 1 credit list I'd be interested in. We'd thrown out quite a few ideas on the phone the other day and only like 3 are on that list. Poop. After your trip we can look more carefully again.
