DH and I are looking to make one ADR for breakfast, but not sure where the best is. We are two 30 somethings...looking for something a little on the quiet/intimate side (if thats possible!).
The only tables near windows at Kona are actually next to a railing and look towards the monorail and some trees. I think maybe MouseWorshipin was thinking of 'Ohana. Kona does have excellent breakfast though - our favorite on property!
Over the past year, we've had excellent breakfasts at Boma, Kona, Whispering Canyon, Crystal Palace, and Spoodles. Of these, Spoodles probably was the quietest followed by Boma and Kona.
We love breakfast at Boatwrights at Port Orleans Riverside. My husband swears by the banan stuffed french toast. I love the breakfast potatoes that they mix with all kinds of goodies if you ask. It's fantastic and a beautiful stroll down the Sassagoula afterwards is very peaceful and pretty.
We (family of 4) always eat at Kona if we want a quiet breakfast. We go the endo of August so it is never crowded. I don't know how the crowds are the rest of the year.
DH and I love going to Boma for breakfast and have made it a "must do". It's a great breakfast with a lot of choices, and the ambiance is relaxing.
AKL is great to visit in the morning, as you can walk around and see some of the wildlife grazing before it gets too warm/sunny for them to be out and about. We usually take some time to relax by the fire pit or in the lobby along with our breakfast.
