The AP center is at the end of Main Street on the left as you walk toward the castle, right past Coke Corner.

I got mine first thing in the morning and there was almost no wait in DL. Then again, it was a Tuesday. haha

I'm pretty sure it's open all day.

We got ours here in the middle of the day, no wait! So glad a CM pointed us in this direction.

Huff- It has been several years since we had an AP but at one time it was located where the bathrooms are located under Space Mountain...maybe the usual place, next to Coca Cola Counter, was being refurbed or something. Thanks all for the info...will probably try over at Greetings at DCA if waits are less.

How do you get in to pay for your AP if the center is inside the park?

Do you have to pay twice - once to get in and then again to pay for the AP?

You buy the AP at the ticket booth's and you get your picture taken and your card inside the park. They give you a paper temporary AP to get in.

Yes, when I got my AP there was no wait at all! Actually, when I purchased my AP at the ticket booths, the lady directed me to go to the AP center in Greetings. It's also so close to the park entrance so that makes it more convenient compared to the one in DL I guess.

Last year we were in the parks for the week after US Thanksgiving. On Saturday, December 4 in the morning there was a huge sale in the World of Disney store in DTD. Is this open to all AP holders or just Premium? We will be purchasing the Deluxe AP.
Finally, how were AP holders notified of the sale, because I heard several grumbling that they didn't know about it.

The World of Disney (DTD) sale is open to all Annual Pass holders.

I dont' think there is any notice directly to the AP holders about anything, lol. Best bet is to watch the AP website and DIS boards. I also am on the MouseForLess yahoogroup and Binnie sends out a daily deals post that always lists the AP specials for rooms and I think she also announced the sale.

I bought my AP online, took my print out to Disneyland and they gave me a ticket to take to the AP center. I had no wait when I did mine, and it was in June.

Thanks to Skiingfast and Funball, DH and I just got our APs at the Greetings store at DCA. We had just walked by the AP office in the other park and it had a huge line. We walked right up to the counter at Greetings, no wait at all. People on these boards are so smart!
