I have to work a half day today but then I am off for 2 weeks woot woot
I am Still tossing the idea of getting in the car on the 26 and driving down to California. But I am worried its a long drive for james, even if we stop a lot I still feel bad sitting in the car seat for that long. Either we wold drive the whole way down to Disneyland about 20 hours or just go to san francisco or some place along the coast

That is a long drive with a little one. I remember when my kids were that young they didn't even like the trip to Maine and that was only 1 1/2 hrs. My daughter would get car sick a lot. Not a pleasant smell. We learned to always pack extra clothes just in case.

Nice little winter vacation ; I don't have to go back to my part time job until January 6th so I'm getting 2 weeks "free" too. I wouldn't say "off" though...boy do I have a lot of things to catch up on ... and I may even "sleep in" a few days! James would be fine as long as you stop every 1 1/2 to 2 hours; if it's just for 10 minutes to let him run around and stretch his legs. I say ... GO FOR IT!

That is a long drive with a little one. It's only 12/13 hours from here to DW and it takes me 2 days. I was so tired, I could have never driven back by myself.
Next year, if I do a Disney Christmas, I think I will do it at DLP. So much easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's checking his list about now...getting ready for TAKE OFF......
