I thought of going but DD had sports stuff Sat and Sun.

Well at least you didn't have to stay at home and WORK! Redstorm had her first cross country meet Saturday. She actually outran the girls AND boys from BJHS coming in 1st against her classmates ; got 3rd overall. I'm off to have lunch with the whole 3rd GRADE CLASS at Little Bit's school in honor of Grandparents Day! H-E-L-P!

Take a look at the hoodlums I got to spend last night with.

It was kickoff night for youth groups, and the theme was "messy games." And then at the end we just let them have cans of shaving cream and it turned into a free for all. I am not in this picture, because I was in a corner with the hose (I was the smart one ) Spent the last 10 minutes going one by one and hosing them off head to toe. The little girl sticking her tongue out is Madison, who my mom tells me is a miniature version of myself. She just entered 5th grade but her vocabulary surpasses many of the adults I know!

Take a look at the hoodlums I got to spend last night with.

Oh Annie...did you bring a flash of memories back to me with that picture! High school band picnic...my BFF's and I were right in the middle of those "creamed kids"...AFTER we'd duct taped the directors to trees! (I brought the duct tape .) That looked like so much fun for you and Madison reminds ME of a certain granddaughter.
