I had been picturing how beautiful the trees must be back there and the mountains!! I was going to ask if those are the White Mountains. Part of the Appalachians? I always wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail. And your town looks so cute!! I wish you would just walk around and take more pictures of your town and your area!! And you have a ski area right there. Sounds like you live in a tourist destination!

And your daughter looks like she could be friends with Karolyn's older granddaughter!

Those are part of the White Mountains. The meet was in a city a few towns over. Yup a ski area in the middle of the city. It's small compared to the ones up north . I don't think i's open anymore.

Wow Diane! All of those pictures are beautiful. I bet the when the leaves change it's incredible! We are like 80% green up here. 15% yellow, 5% other including red. Sure would like to see a picture of you…...

I think our kids would be BEST friends! They both have determination and drive and love it when they can say, "I DID IT"!

Is that a Bottle Brush plant...at least that's what we call it here! Does it have red tips at the end of the branches that look like a bottle brush? I remember seeing a beautiful one somewhere in the WS but just can't picture where! What about Japan?

I'll have to look through my box of pictures, I have some really good ones of the mountains in the fall. I also have some of when we went to the top of Mt Washington. That was scary. I did not like that all. Amazing views but
