I took a walk down "memory lane" this evening. I'll admit it...I'm a "pack rat" ; I save WAY more stuff than I should but sometime I'm glad. I was looking for something and came across a video tape I'd saved from the year Redstorm was born....a taped from TV showing of the 2002 Walt Disney World Christmas Parade. The trees on Main Street were SMALL; a portion of the show featured "Disney's newest park...Animal Kingdom"; from the Disney archives...Walt wishing everyone Merry Christmas; Belle in her beautiful DEEP YELLOW dress ; The WIGGLES singing "Hot Potato, Hot Potato" ; a"real character" Dumbo; a portion of Epcot's WS Parade of Nations...."thanks for the memories" Disney World!

I need to pick a better time to walk down memory lane , SHOULD have been working on my Snow Village, but just couldn't turn it off. I have NO willpower and had Disney "on the brain". Youngest DD has been trying to talk me into a "quick 3 day trip" just to see the Christmas decorations. It's hard enough saying "no" to my children but REALLY tested me when DW was "in the equation". So...my "quick trip" was watching that parade and it really made me realize how MUCH things have changed!
