Only reason I watch The Today anymore. Hope his wife won't be too upset with his absence. Heard rumors that his marriage was in trouble from all the traveling which is why Katie traveled sor some of the big stories this year.

They gave the clue for Monday but I didn't get all of it. Something like: "The shuttle would have room to turn around here".

Something with the word "pinch" in the phrase too... because I remember Al saying that it may have to do with Salt because the word pinch.

Just a side note they are going to be it Saint Louis on Monday for their habitat house stuff... I am so tempted to go down.

That was the clue given this morning. Wonder if it is some kind of reference to the area around Mt. Rushmore being an alternate location for a space shuttle landing? Just thinking out loud here, although it wouldn't make sense why Matt Lauer is leaving tonight. I thought the destination for first day is generally a good distance for him to travel. Anyone else have any thoughts to what the clue means??

Salt Flats
or this is really out there
San Fancisco because of the cable car turn arounds. The cable cars shuttle passengers and you don't have to turn your head to turn around.

How do I call her back up and say sorry... I want to be on the TODAY show????

I don't think the clue said the shuttle would land, just that it could be there in a pinch. I thougt about England, doesn't the shuttle fly east? I was going to look up the path of the shuttle after take-off but haven't done it yet.
