Where do you go for quickie breakfasts such as pastries, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, etc.?

Do you have favorite places at the hotel or in the parks? Please share.

Thanks!
Jody

We just got to the Starbucks in the parks and get a coffee and either a muffin, slice of lemon bread or any other pastry that would hold us over till lunch.

Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian, where we stay the most. Also, we order groceries for our room from GardenGrocer.com.

We sometimes stop in some of the places in the parks for a really quick breakfast. More often than not we stay at Bay Lake and go to the Contempo Cafe for breakfast.

I usually only have coffee in the morning. DH like cereal or yogurt, so I usually bring cereal and disposable bowls and we buy milk, OJ and yogurt in the food court or gift shop and he eats in the room.

We usually eat breakfast in the room, or occasionally go to the resort food court. We order items from Garden Grocer (cereal, milk, fruit, juice, pop tarts, pastries, protein bars, yogurt, etc.). One or two mornings, we go to the resort food court and get a heartier breakfast.

By eating breakfast in the room, we save both time and money. We like to get to the parks before rope drop and don't want to waste precious park time stopping for breakfast.

Oh, and once per trip, we do a breakfast buffet with a late seating (10:30 or so) and treat it as "brunch". That way, we maximize the shortest lines at park opening for the first couple of hours, and have a nice, leisurely sit-down meal.

Like ZoZo, we either eat breakfast in our room or hit the resort food court if we want a hot meal.

Thanks for the ideas. I have thought about breakfast bars for the room. We are doing at least one character breakfast. I am hoping to do a couple of quick service breakfasts and coffee/pastry for the rest of the trip.

We are planning on staying at one of the Epcot resorts.

Boardwalk Bakery is a great option for items you mentioned and it will be in your neck of the woods

We mostly eat in our rooms for first breakfast (a bowl of cereal). However, like hobbits, we enjoy second breakfast! My favorite place to hit is Gaston's Tavern for the Cinnamon Roll. It's nice and big and pairs with a hot beverage in the most Disneyest way!

Hi there. :jester:

For the Epcot resorts I would like to recommend the following alternatives. :earsboy:

* The Boardwalk Bakery
* Cape May Café at the BC
* Or an international snack to start the day at Epcot WS.

You're sure in a great area with a lot of excellent selections to pick a favorite from. :tink:

We usually pack granola bars, instant oatmeal, trail mix etc. for mornings because we like to be to the parks early and get a few rides in before the crowds get too heavy. We have also gotten stuff from our resort QS...We've stayed at 4 and all had similar options like fruit, yogurt, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. For in park options I'd suggest Starbucks in MK & Epcot, Starring Rolls in DHS, and Kusafiri in AK.

Sleepy Hollow in MK. Nutella and fruit Belgian waffles are to die for but are too large for me. Splitting them with someone else is the perfect size. Sipping coffee and eating waffles in a quiet outdoor section of MK while everyone else is running is a perfect way to take a morning break!

I pack various kinds of granola and breakfast bars, bagels, peanut butter, ect and eat on the way to the bus.

We bring stuff for a quick breakfast in the room (oatmeal, poptarts, etc), but if we want something else, we go to the food court at our resort.
