We use ours to pay our property taxes.

That's what DD does; I set aside money every month toward our taxes because I like this refund business. Sure puts a crimp in the monthly income in the checking account but I feel so much better knowing the funds are there when the bill comes in September.

I got a surprise refund myself. Didn't expect it. It went toward paying my bill for having my taxes done But, I'm on track to go to Disneyland this Sept.

This is the first year that we actually got enough to pay our bill. Thank goodness for the credit we got for DS being in college.

So we're still trying to decide on the vehicle we want. Yesterday DH says to me "You know if you get the more expensive one you can forget about going to Florida." I said "So if I get the cheaper one we can go?" He didn't answer. He doesn't know it yet but I do have a little saved. I'm waiting for something to break and I'll have to to tap into it.

Those college credits are NICE, aren't they? I agree with DH...go cheaper and keep depositing to that vacation fund. I know exactly what you mean about "waiting for something to break" too. Our freezer died last month; we put it on the credit card to get the discount and I paid it off last week. Sure was hard writing that check out of the "vacation fund"!
