I KNOW but I'm "sticking my tongue out" to the AC! I HATE that it's warm enough for that sucker to run in January! Youngest DD met us for Redstorm's basketball game and she was NOT happy with the weather either. Now...zero...you can keep THAT but we'd at LEAST like to have temps in the 30's-40's!

This was the sequence in the parade we saw in July...hard to tell but they may be the opening dancers. I was looking for the character associated with them and you nailed that Annie! :

I really didn't like the parade when I saw the first pictures but it "grows on you". VERY colorful and festive and SO much to look at!

Interesting! They were not in the parade that I saw! There was a car with a family who had been picked out to be the grand marshals or something and then the floats started. The floats in this parade are HUGE!! The dragon at the end would give me night mares if I was a little kid! They have some really imaginative people making up the parades! I saw a lot of parades on my last trip!

It is not a dragon. It is a sea 'serpent', it is not alive but it is 'art'. What is the 'art' called? Not sure if it has a name, I always just called it the Sea ________.

Well...I'd describe it as a sea serpent but I guess I'll just go with Sea Topiary.

Well...I'd describe it as a sea serpent but I guess I'll just go with Sea Topiary.

Topiary is what I was looking for. Sea Serpent or aka Sea Monster Topiary.
