Park, resort or other? Not easy to me...

Well we have some good news and bad news about our planned Disney trips…

So due to some family stuff on the DW sides it looks like we are not going to be taking her niece and nephew to Disneyland this October :(

How ever after talking about it with the DW we have decided to take out redo of our honeymoon a bit earlier then excepted… so with that in mind I just have to talk to my work on Monday and see if I have any left over vacation time I can use up and if sooo.

We are planning on spending Christmas in Disney World :cool1::cool1:

i already have it all planned out and saved on the disney website i just need the word from work before i go ahead and book it :)

Wow! Christmas at DW!! :yay: Like Christmas Day? New Year's Eve? I hear that is one of The Busiest Times of the whole year. But, it will be so beautiful!!! Where are you planning to stay???

no we would be here in mid Dec.. we are thinking of staying at the same resort as last time POFQ? but we may change that but not sure yet...

my question is.. when we stayed at POFQ we noticed that any bus that we took did not stop and any other resorts they we straight to the parks..

is this the same with all the other resorts?

we want to stay at a moderate hotel again.. but just wondering if the the buses are like that everywhere

Ed reminded me that I haven't stopped by in a while. (hangs head in shame)

I believe that POFQ buses tend to share with POR. We stayed at POR in 2010 and the buses we took did stop off at FQ for pick-up. But if it is busy, then they just went straight to the parks. I'm guessing that they know when busy period is and just run direct services.

I've also stayed at CSR....the buses were direct from there too.

Not so at the BCV.....the buses did pick up from the Boardwalk.

Sounds like you are having an active day!

Is your picture from the outside of the castle, I assume? Front or back?

We're done for the day! :cool1: Oldest DGD tried to catch up with her sister on goals but came up 1 shy of a tie! :rotfl2: Good day but feels REALLY good to sit down and watch FOOTBALL now! :yay:

Mid December was not that bad. The second week of December was very slow many years ago.

Hi Princess :goodvibes

Jeff, i believe there are dedicated buses during the peak hours to the parks as Princess has said. When my DD and i were at the POFQ 3 weeks ago the bus did stop at POR but then we did not head to the park until midday.

It was also that way when we were at the All Star Sports in May. Shared loops during the midday time frame.

Christmas season is a great time to be at DW. Everything is all decorated. Crowds during the peak week forget it. My DS and I were in the MK on New Years Night about 6 years ago to do it once and NEVER NEVER again. You could not move on Main Street for the hour prior and during the countdown. Now the fire works show was a 360 degree display that was absolutely awesome. I think we hauled butt to beat that mad house getting to all of the transportion vehicles.
