MK? Is it part of an attraction?

But, the park is NOT the MK and it is not part of an attraction.

This is the DD Brittany. I have confiscated my dads camera. There will be no picture no taking today. Goopysolelady, dad knows where the rocks are but can't tell you because I have taken his cell phone too. Dad will get these items back when I head back to Georgia. Have a nice day everyone.

Oh that's just cruel.:lmao:

:welcome: Hey Brittany...welcome to WITW! Now I know how your Dad gets his amazing shots. He actually MAKES you stop and wait while he takes pictures! Shame on him. I apologize, as an OP on WITW #1, I've been lax in my duties of informing new players as to "how to get shots for our game while touring with your children"! I'll "have a talk" with Dad after this trip and give him a few pointers.

SUNDIAL...if you can manage to sweet talk Brittany into giving your camera back, here's one of my favorite "tips". WHY do you think I have photos of the restrooms! :lmao: The children can not deny their parents a trip to those places; the alternative would be VERY embarrassing for them. :rotfl2: While you're "in there", plot which photos you can get from the doorway and on your walk back. ALSO...remember, you're "over 16" ... the walking pace NEEDS to slow down so you're not short of breath. You'd be surprised at the number of photos you can talk at a slow walking pace. (Just glance down at the ground on occassion so you don't trip over something. :thumbsup2) Enjoy the rest of your visit to our magical DW! :rotfl:

Will be back later with some posts on our puzzle...cooking lunch for the family and my deadline is Noon...can't keep the children waiting.............:tink:

Brittney...the rocks were a post of Denise's and tell Dad Diane has solved it. :thumbsup2

:lmao:

sometimes I snap pics without even stopping, or really looking. I make sure I'm as wide as possible on my lens and click as I'm walking by. The majority aren't usable, but you may get a handful of decent ones.

You can also get your kids to pose for you near something interesting, and take the picture of what you wanted to get, and then say, "oh, your eyes are closed in that one. Let me get another." then take the other pic.

If all else fails, recruit them and have them help you find things to take pictures of. "Okay kids, let's see if we can count all the different kinds of rocks they have if the MK today." or "Let's see if we can find all the eyes in the park."

That was a great 2 1/2 days playing in the parks with DD. We decided to see the things we didn't see a couple of months ago. She is great and has a great sense of humor. She was the one that started the idea about posting on here saying that she was confiscation the camera and so on. As we were walking around the MK Sunday evening we spent a couple of hours joking back and forth about different things to write here. I could have written a book but my 16yr old brain could not remember everything we said to put in here. :rotfl2:

She was okay for most of the times i stopped to take pics which were really not that many. Was just having fun.

I did not stay until the park was empty. I was supprised at how many resort guest were still in the park at 2am. I was just to tired but did take some 15 to 30 second exposure pics that ghosted most everyone out of the pic. You will see when i post them up.

:( well i have never been during Oct so i am not sure of all the decoration hot spots just going off of pictures i have seen in the past lol

This is what was on every lamp post on Main Street.

I have been in there an hour plus after closing and you would be suprised at how many are still there. When i walked out of the park Sunday it was 2:30am.

Let's start again with something easy before i get to the "eyes" :rotfl2:

Good to have you back! :cheer2: Sounds like an awesome trip with more than a little Father/Daughter bonding! :thumbsup2 Sounds like your DD has the same sense of humor you do and I can see how that might get "dangerous" at times! :lmao: Soooo good seeing those pumpkin Mickey's back up...fall is my favorite time of the year! One of the reasons I posted my current picture...after almost 100 degree temps the past 3-4 days, I'm READY to start seeing those pumpkins on display!

I've only made it to 2 AM in the park...and jeepwreck...it's a MUST DO! :thumbsup2 There are still people around but you can easily find deserted areas where you feel like it's just "you and Mickey"! :rotfl: Looking forward to see your photos...I shudder to say, even the "eye ones". :scared1: :tink:
