Disappointing day of softball today. DD team made it to the finals we were playing a team we had won against the previous day 6-1. We were the home team and we were halfway through the second inning and they are ahead by 1 run, we had runners on third and second with no outs and the umpire saw lightning and called the game right then and said the other team wins because they are ahead. Usually if you see lightning you have a wait period. Sad part is the sun came out 10 minutes later. Our coach wanted to continue playing but the umpires said no.
