My DD is over in England right now and will be back tomorrow. DS is taking his GF out since it is her B-Day. I will be heading down to my parents house shortly. Might take dad to the local dog track for a few races. The horse that he likes are not running today.

What an awesome card! THANK YOU ... and thank you Denise for the double birthday wishes! I was actually born on Father's Day..."16 years ago"! My Daddy always said I was the BEST Father's Day gift EVER...we could never top it! Had a nice phone call from my favorite aunt this morning and getting the food ready for Father's Day/birthday lunch at DD's house. Ed...DS's girlfriends birthday is today also? Cool! You know he has a "good one" if her birthday is June 17th! Enjoy your day with your Dad! Try to get in a little nap since you were up all night! Reminded me of our DW vacation in '08. Long story; short version...we departed Houston 5 hours before Hurricane Ike shut the airport down. DH had to stay behind (stupid job of his ) so I had our room at the Poly all to myself. One of the local Orlando TV stations went live broadcasting the Houston ABC station and I was able to watch the arrival of Ike to the Houston area. Had a "one eye open; one closed" all night viewing of the arrival of Ike into the Galveston/Houston area. I hadn't heard from DH in over 12 hours (he was out doing his emergency management duties) and it was a LONG night filled with concern. But...was dressed and ready to go at 9 AM the next morning for a full day in the parks after finally getting a phone call from DH about 10 that morning. He was on one of the first flights out of Houston after the airport reopened and we ended up having a super vacation!
