Well...we're officially booked for Nov. 25th-Dec. 2...for "better or worse". Mandy and I were both talking about all the HASSLE you go through now to go to DW! We only booked 5 park days because of it! We may not do many, if any, of our "favorites" but I refuse to PAY for all those attractions! We might pay for Rise but won't for anything else. We've got arrival day for DS and taking another full day for breakfast at Kona and resort hopping to see the Christmas decorations. We decided to go with POP. Downside....the POP bus stops are usually the LAST ones and a LONG walk at the park bus stops but wanted to be on the Skyliner route but we'll only need to use them for the MK and AK. There's a possibility Bryan may also come and having 2 rooms instead of the family suite works better for that... and if he doesn't that's okay too, Mandy will have a room to herself. We'll have a busy 10 days; will be in Houston with Katie and the Brahmadoras for the Thanksgiving Day Parade Wednesday and until noon on Thursday; dinner at my sisters that night and leave Friday!

Did you watch all the drama during the women's skating finals tonight? The young lady who was suppose to win (but shouldn't have been skating in the first place) "bombed" her performance and came in 4th (felt bad for her despite the circumstances....she's only 15!); the young lady that earned the bronze metal bawled her eyes out since she wasn't expecting to medal; the silver medalist had a regular temper tantrum 'cause SHE didn't win gold and the poor gold medal winner was left sitting on the couch not knowing what to do and no one to congratulate her 'cause the coaches were all dealing with the other 2 girls! Interesting evening and totally unexpected!

And to top it off we had a high today (around noon) of 77 degrees and 12 hours later it's 37 with 30-35 mph north winds! May or MAY NOT be going to soccer games tomorrow evening!

Off to brave the cooler temperatures to watch a little Friday night soccer!

I missed the skating. I went to bed and they’ve been having it on too late. I wished I would’ve watched to see the drama.
Lucky to be going. I wish we were going but I just can’t pay rack rate. I need a deal. Unless they have a deal going on this summer we’ll probably wait until next summer. I really wish they would go back to the fast pass system. Charging to get into the parks then charging for “fast pass” is ridiculous. They could at least have all the rides available and not charge an extra fee for the big ones. I heard they are raising ticket prices again.

It was SOME drama; unlike anything I've ever seen in any skating competition! Even the head of the Skating Association has "words" for the coaches! When that poor little girl came off the ice you could hear the coach scolding her for "quitting". She shouldn't have been skating in the first place; no matter the circumstances, a positive drug test is a positive drug test! I guess I sympathize with her on the coaching thing though because that could be KATIE coming off the stage after a bad solo performance and having her dance teacher chewing her out! (She's at competition this weekend; having some costume issues....I'll try to send you a picture so you can see what Sara needs to get fixed ASAP! ) She knew "the world" didn't want her on the ice to perform and she just broke down after the first fall. I guess I felt the worst for the young lady that won the gold medal. It was well deserved and, bless her heart, she was back stage by herself watching everything else unfold and she had NO ONE congratulate her or pay ANY attention to her! It was so sad.

Mandy and I both said "this may be the last trip" if things don't change. Get this...I priced the Poly for the week for the 3 of us with tickets....$11,000 plus! Seriously thought about Boardwalk Inn, 1 bedroom villa but just couldn't justify $8,000+ when we could get the POP for $4,500 ... 2 rooms so 2 full bathrooms with the Food Court...and cheaper food plus full breakfast available without reserving a table service restaurant. We'll probably just have to deal with the bus issue 3 times at the most. One trip to the MK, 1 to the AK and 1 to DS. We'll use Uber or Lyft to get to the Poly for breakfast and, after the monorail circle use the bus from there to HS and Skyliner to Epcot resorts. It will be a "bare bones" trip because I refuse to pay them ANY extra money. We just want to see the Christmas decorations and we may attend the Christmas Party; I'll "splurge" for that expense since we'd be able to do a few of the rides we may not be able to do on a regular park day. IF we do that we may skip a day at the MK all together and just go to our favorite parks...HS and Epcot. I think I've read 4 different articles this week alone on the situation and people canceling their trips because of it. Yes...ticket prices HAVE gone up again. "Only $25-30" but that's not the point; higher prices and LESS "value" for the price since they've cut back on so much entertainment. Another sad situation.....

Got A LITTLE cold at the soccer games, especially during the girls game! My hands were starting to hurt since I was taking a few pictures and had to take my gloves off. Boys game was great...tied 0-0 at the end so went to PK's and Bellville won 4-3. Girls went until the middle of the 2nd quarter before they scored and then they got 3 goals in 5 minutes! Both games were for 1st place in District so against "even record" teams so we knew they'd be worth watching. If they'd have been playing a "bad team, we'd have stayed home in front of the fireplace! Sure was a pretty sunset tonight and the MOON..."crisp winter moon"...so pretty....

It was SOME drama; unlike anything I've ever seen in any skating competition! Even the head of the Skating Association has "words" for the coaches! When that poor little girl came off the ice you could hear the coach scolding her for "quitting". She shouldn't have been skating in the first place; no matter the circumstances, a positive drug test is a positive drug test! I went back and checked "Disney Dining" and this place is listed under "Asia". PERSONALLY, I'd list it under "Discovery Island" by looking at the map. Diane...I THINK you had a crop from here once too that gave us some "thinking/guessing" issues. It's not a kiosk and not Warung Outpost. Hope that's enough of a "clue" to give you some more options.

No Ma'am...not any of those. It's currently not listed on the map (I think it's been closed since the Covid shutdown); of I'm not mistaken they only served drinks (we never got anything from there). I'll just post pic and spot if that doesn't help either.
