Not the "thing you stick your head through"; a bench or sign or in the Kidcot area. :goodvibes :tink:

Part of one of the totem poles? Trash can?

:hug:Sending prayers her way. So scary, I hope she is ok.

Part of one of the totem poles? Trash can?

They were closing her up at 7 and the family was to meet with the doctors afterward. 10 hour surgery :(; no additional news. I just can't imagine the hell they went through the past 48 hours.

No Ma'am, not part of the totem poles or a trash can. :tink:

These are picture are from Brenham (20 miles to our north) and are part of the little storm that came through Bellville a few minutes later! :scared:

This is outside the Poly, correct? Is it something useful or just part of the decor?

The sky looks nasty:scared1:

So scary about the 10 year old with the brain tumor! and those clouds!

Can't wait to show the pictures to Redstorm! Amazing cloud formations and that "cool front" has brought us wonderful cool weather...it's currently 74 degrees!

Latest update on Hailey...

7:00 AM update:

Rough night sums it up. She fought to come out of anesthesia and then became acutely aware of what is going on again. And to be honest she’s pissed (if you know her, you know exactly what I’m talking about). She has slurred speech and has lost some function of the right side of her face. The doctors believe this to be temporary. We pray that is the case. She was able to drink from a straw so that was good. She is in a great deal of pain. As it turns out when the surgeon says to expect pain, he does not lie. Please center your prayers today around pain management, the results of the upcoming MRI (ct scan done last night looked great), no more “pokes” for blood draws, and the return of facial movement and clear speech. I thought waiting for 13 hours while she was in surgery would be the toughest part...turns out I was wrong and I fear what the days ahead will bring for us. Please continue to pray. I know this child is a miracle and God has big plans for her future because he has laid things out in so many perfect ways for her. He has put people in our path to help us along this journey that we could have never traveled alone. As we reflect on the events of the last 72 hours we realize how many prayers have been answered and miracles granted. This is because of all of you and your willingness to storm the heavens with your prayers. Please don’t stop now...the tough road has just begun.

Love, Ryan, Lisa, Blake, and Hailey

I keep putting myself in "their shoes" :sad1: and my heart breaks. We've known this family since the '90's; Hailey's grandmother worked at our accountants office before running for office and taking the position of County Judge; oldest DD battled Hailey's mother on the tennis court throughout their Jr and Sr High School years. Very special friends and we continue praying for them. :tink:
