Queen's Table?

Read an interesting article on Facebook earlier about Animal Kingdom. I did not know that the animals are "called in" each evening by various methods. ::yes:: The hippos come in when they hear a triangle; elephants~drum beats; giraffes~cowbells; zebras~sports whistle; crocodiles~metal bar being struck under water; gazelle~duck call and other hooved animals with a horn.pixiedust: Wonder how the train them to do that! :rotfl2: AND...each safari vehicle costs $100,000! :faint: I learn more DW facts EVERY day! ::yes:: :tink:

The "lesson for the day" :rotfl: is done so here's more for "play time" :yay::

Park, resort or other?

I would think it wouldn't be so hard to train animals to come in to a certain sound. Just pair the sound with food.

I've read that the bathrooms in the AK are the only bathrooms at DW that lock from the inside so that if the animals get loose, people can hide in the bathrooms.
