We're having a nice cloudy winter afternoon here. High today was 52; it's dropped to 47 with a wind chill in upper 30's. No more taking down outdoor decorations for me; I'm sitting by the fireplace watching football until it's time to leave for church!

Brrr that's cold. It's been cold here too single digits in the morning and highs in the teens and low 20s. It snowed yesterday and this morning didn't really amount to anything. Temps are supposed to be higher tomorrow but with heavy rain and then temps drop and everything will freeze Monday morning.

We're down to 43 now but that's nothing compared to your weather! Brrrr...and heavy rain moving in is going to make it downright miserable! Is that rain I'm seeing at the Cincinnati/Pittsburgh game moving into your area? Bad news coming out of church service tonight; one of my high school classmates has been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer. Our carefree "group of 7" is met head on with this first serious illness.

That is exactly correct! Noticed these "hidden Mickey's" as we were waiting for our table on our arrival day; a good way to start our trip.

YES...nasty game, wasn't it? I told DH BOTH teams should have been eliminated! I had no preference as to who won; pulled for Pittsburgh a few years ago when Emmanual Sanders played there but when he became a free agent and went to Denver, Pittsburgh was "off my radar". Been thinking about Sherrie a lot , remembering our fun times in high school and, as of late, our reunions. She always makes us laugh with her dry sense of humor. She sees an oncologist tomorrow to determine her course of treatment.
