Nice pin. I can't believe they are doing away with the lights. I was looking at pictures I took of my tree and noticed my new Olaf ornament is missing the drink glass. Did everyone watch the Disney parade this morning? I wish they sang more Christmas songs and showed more of the parade and parks. My daughter gave me a huge stuffed Mickey.

I was THRILLED to get that pin...it's the Olaf one...I'll take a picture later, I left my camera at DD's and DH will bring it home after the movie they're watching. It's NOT a "Disney movie" so I opted to come home and start a little of the cleanup. Your poor Olaf...NO DRINK GLASS? Maybe it broke off in the wrapping paper you packed him away in...super glue does wonders. There's more than 1 Mickey "ears" glued back on my ornaments! We watched part of the parade and I recorded it so I'll watch the entire thing later but from what we saw, I agree. It's nice that they have the "big name" guests but SING CHRISTMAS SONGS for the CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!

Just watched the local news and the weatherman promised cooler temperatures are on the way after Houston broke the record today with a high of 83. In 48 hours our temps will drop 30 degrees! We'll be moving the tropical plants inside tomorrow evening!

Sounds like an almost perfect day...hope James is feeling better. Youngest DD wasn't 100% either today but her Christmas presents made HER feel better!

I like the hat!! Joe completely floored me--my present was the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer I was NOT expecting it, and actually started crying when I realized what it was. He said he wanted a break from buying me jewelry

I like the hat too...both those gifts were total surprises. I LOVE the floppy brim on the hat...it's perfect for pool afternoons and blocking that bright sun out. I don't have a stand mixer but my former boss used one in the little coffee shop I worked in and she, too, absolutely LOVED it. Get used to it Annie...the jewelry gifts will be few and far between once you get married! (...and it's usually "by request" since you'll final SO many things that will make "life easier"...like that stand mixer. )

Off to visit sister/brother-in-law before they return to Colorado and then DH & I are making a quick trip to Katy to check out the after-Christmas sale...before the storms set in. We're looking at possible severe weather early evening/late night so we're planning a short trip...will give you time to think on this a little more...

I'm going to keep you thinking on this one ; not at Adrian and Edith's Head to Toe either.
