DD's birthday today ; she just called to let me know the next soccer game is tomorrow night so birthday for tonight is "a go" . Time for me to get busy...she wants fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cream peas from her Dad's garden and a banana cake. No rest for me today....

This IS something familiar to everyone but often overlooked. It's on Hollywood Blvd; not an attraction, shop (so not Pluto's Palace), food service or restroom.

Sorry...I'll try really hard to send you some of our sunshine ; it's time for the Northeast to get some SPRING! I'll relay your message to DD ; on Facebook I wished her, among other things, a day of "no arguments from her girls" ...that hasn't happened! Redstorm is being a "pain in the b***"...whining via text 'cause she sooooo wants to go to the soccer playoff game tomorrow night. Her volleyball team has a practice scheduled for a tournament this weekend; she's missed the last 2 weeks due to her foot and she's begging DD to send the coach another "she needs to sit out because of her foot" excuse. My wish for the day is officially "not happening....

It has definitely been a Monday. Was woken up at 4:30 by the smoke detector in our bedroom announcing that its battery was dead. Felt a little better when I got to work--my coworker had on two different shoes! Said she put both on to see which she liked better, got distracted, and then just left the house without realizing
