Will be gone for volleyball all day tomorrow...Diane...I thought of you when DH googled our destination...at the bottom of one of those "spaghetti bowls"...but at least we don't have to DRIVE on the top level!
She wandered up the neighbors house this afternoon; scared, thirsty, hungry but with only a couple of small scratches on her! 
DD is "beside herself" with relief and excitement...ME TOO!
DH had to "hold a couple of us back"! 
It was just time to go home 
... we were all tired and I lost count of how many games they'd played. They won every game right up to the semi-finals. The other team had a girl "blow" her knee 
(THAT was not fun to watch ) and Redstorm got hit in the nose/face with a "kill" volleyball. 
Oh my goodness...that hurt! She normally does NOT show pain but she was on the verge of tears. Looking for a black eye in the morning! 
And...we turn right around tomorrow and go back to the same place to watch the "little" ACE team in a tournament.

At about the same time I got that happy text, we were watching the ACE volleyball team PLAY crappy, LOOSE to a crappy team, with crappy REFS and very crappy FANS!
I feel your pain, been there many times with hockey. Crappy team, crappy fans and crappy refs.
No Ma'am, not from the safari area...and to clarify...it's not "an attraction" but it's associated with one. Didn't say that earlier...sorry.

It's like other volleyball coaches outside of our area don't play by the same rules! 
Volleyball rules confuse me now; it's a totally different game from when DD's played but gee...when I see things called/not called...you know it's gotten strange. The Ace coach had numerous "conversations" with this one coach calling to the second to last match ; she was as baffled as the rest of us. And the fans...there's just no excuse for the way some of them act. Had a really nice couple sitting next to our group but then.....; that poor lady was SO embarrassed! We are SO relieved, and actually surprised, that Gemini is safe. The wooded area around DD's house is full of wild animals and the wild hogs are getting out of hand...it's so many of them. She brings all of her dogs inside every night. That's one lucky dog 
; I was 85% sure we'd never find her alive.

I'd finally talked her into offering a reward but the decided to go into Brenham for a late lunch/early dinner first. They'd just ordered their food when the neighbor called. They were returning from Houston and spotted Gemini wandering 
close to their house. When the lady called DD, she left Bryan at the restaurant and rushed home. 
At least they'd met friends so he didn't have to sit alone but she had to go back and get him after she fed Gemini and got her settled in at home. 
Very, VERY thankful for her return.
