The bar/lounge?

:woohoo: That's the spot! I may have to hit OUR "bar/lounge" this evening for a Hot Toddy...boy is my throat sore! Allergies are hitting hard this year! :faint:

Here's a new one for Tuesday...hopefully I'll be around :rolleyes1. Severe weather forecast to hit us around 4 AM; 1" hail, heavy rain and 60 MPH winds. Hopefully we won't loose power... :

Now onto the Princess Half Marathon on Sunday.

The Saturday 10K was an awesome day with my daughter. Sunday was even better. This was the day of the costumes. It started with the alarms going off at 2:30am. Of course one has to hit the snooze button at least once. We got to the race area about 4:30. We had to wait for quite a few buses to take us from POP Century to Epcot's parking lot.

This was in the pre-race area.

Found a group of other men princesses in the pre-race area. Had to get a pic with them. Saw them again on course around mile 8.

We took pics at every mile marker and another spot or 2. No need to post all of them. Besides I have not down loaded any pics from my camera yet. These show the jist of everything.

Mile 6 was Cousin It from the Adams Family meets Ariel.

Of course we had to get the final mile marker sign before the finish.

And our pic with all of the newly earned bling

We got sooooooooooooooooo many compliments and people stopping to ask us if they could take a pic with us. It was great. It would be interesting to see where those other selfie pics with us end up on the net.

I also have to say that the beard and wig never came off during the run at all. When the sun came up there were thoughts but then we started playing a little game to see who would be the first one to remove a piece of their costume.

I have to say this weekend was an absolutely fantastic and wonderful time to spend with my daughter. We had a blast. It was a really "priceless" weekend. Hated to see it end.

Great pictures:thumbsup2 Love the one of all the Princesses.:rotfl: Sounds like you had a great weekend with your daughter. :goodvibes

Park? Attraction?

I thought your last crop was a Q-tip in the grass! I would have never guessed the guitar!

I know, I thought that one would last longer, oh well.

Yes, this one is in a park, no not in an attraction but related to one (at least I think it's considered one)

When I finally decide to retire. There will be free time to plan a run on both coasts in the same year and receive a special coast to coast medal. It is the Partners Statue.

That's the one I really want. I have desire to do Goofy or Dopey, but I want the Coast to Coast medal. Had I stayed a few days longer, I could've done the Star Wars Half in DLR and gotten a start on it.

I love the other male princesses. When we did Wine and Dine, I did a very loosely based Belle costume. I have a gold sparkle skirt, and paired it with a yellow t-shirt (which, do you know how HARD it is to find a "Belle yellow" shirt?) and had rose clips on my shoes. It was covered by a poncho most of the race. I'm shocked you guys left all your costume on. I couldn't even take a boa when I did the Diva Half Marathon in Myrtle Beach, because the idea of feathers being anywhere near me after 13 miles made me shudder.

You are so cute with red hair Ed!!

Love your costumes! You look adorable with the red hair Ed!! :) Looks like you had a blast! What great father daughter time! And being Titan/Ariel and switching roles was very creative!

And that group of guys who all dressed as princesses! :faint: That was too funny!
