It's ok but it just seems like something is missing. I like the Tiki statue but the whole thing seems a bit small. Does it still have that "Poly smell?" Love that smell.

YES...still has the tropical "smell and feel". Funny thing though...I realized AFTER we got home...I never even noticed the new bar area ... is the name Trader Sam's ??? In my defense...we were there the last day and by that time lack of sleep was starting to kick in! I've saved some of the pictures for crops (didn't want to give your "photographic memory" to much of a chance to guess the crops on 1st guess ) and after seeing some of those you may feel different. I was convinced I wouldn't like it but had to change my mind. The entire area on the 2nd floor facing the pool is now a waiting area for O'hana's and that's a HUGE improvement. Guests are sitting and out of the "walking areas" now and that is most helpful!

I agree Denise...Poly was a lot better than I expected!

That's a good start ; this is on a wall inside the lobby. It's in a spot mostly seen by everyone and fits in perfectly with the "idea/decor" of the Lodge.

If anyone needs last minute Christmas gifts, check out the Disney Store. I went online over the weekend, needing a small Minnie stocking stuffer and found some great deals. That same Minnie that was $10 at DS was on sale for $6.00; I got a Christmas Donald & Daisy, 18" for ME to add to my Christmas character collection for $12.00 each and an adorable Olaf "Sketchbook" ornament...he's under a beach umbrella in the sand with his little drink by his side for $6.00. At the time I ordered the sale lowered these prices but it was worth it to pay the shipping. I'll post a picture later but wanted to tell y'all to check it out!

I have the same ornament!!. We went to the Disney Store last weekend and I bought that ornament, a tree topper star with Mickey and Minnie on it, flannel pants and a fuzzy Olaf blanket for DD and a Chip and Dale Christmas mug for me.

I think I know the building...outside Tatooine Traders? Excited about the movie coming out next week; afraid it will be after Christmas though before we'll be able to go see it! But no, this is not from HS.
