As expected, one of us has to make a visit to the doctor tomorrow. DD has been "under the weather" about 3 weeks now and it's gotten worse today. Hopefully she can get in first thing in the morning and get some help.

In the meantime, something a little different for the rest of the evening:

Thanks, me too ...I'd much rather it be me than one of them. She's not "down", as in it's time to stay in bed, just doesn't feel well, tires easily, chest congestion and cough. We knew when she took the job at the pre-school this might happen...kids are ALWAYS sick! Hopefully a good dose of penicillin will do the trick. Our NP is pretty good about that when we have vacation or something important in the near future and have to go in to see her. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks...she managed to get an early morning appointment and ended up getting a shot AND a Z-Pac. She's been taking OTC meds for chest & head congestion and ears are fine but head feels twice its size! She should show improvement by this afternoon after the shot. Hope so...we leave Thursday, not Sunday...only 2 1/2 days for her to get better! So that means Jeff only has 2 1/2 more days THERE. Seems like it was just yesterday when he left!

We were expecting at least one of us to be sick since, like you said Annie, it's "that time of the year"; I just wish it was me instead of one of the girls. Hoping she's feeling better...'cause she's really grumpy when she's not! Yes, I am getting excited but also a little anxious too with the "world situation". It didn't help hearing a TV news anchor say she was a little nervous about flying and large crowds after the events of last couple of weeks. But I will NOT let "those people" rule my life or ruin my vacation. We're all a little more "aware" after 9-11, it's part of our daily life now. AND...we're under the gun again tomorrow for bad weather...chance of hail, high winds, tornados and heavy rain!
