We hit triple digits two weeks ago. Last week it stormed every afternoon so the temperature finally came down. I actually had a customer from PA ask me on the phone if it got cooler. "Sure," I replied. "In Fall."

People think I'm CRAZY when I wish for fall & winter! Triple digit temps should be the only explanation needed! Been tracking DD's family flight to NYC on Flightaware...they crossed over North Carolina about 20 minutes to go; 18 minutes until they touch down!

I'll bet you could Jeff; I'm just teasing y'all ! I know you're not used to the heat but at least you don't have the humidity of Texas and Florida! It's been pretty high here again...in fact, I'm beginning to think I LIVE at DW . Right now we're at the beginning of a regular afternoon thunderstorm...just as I was headed out to the pool! Boy...is it thundering and lightening though! Grab one of our favorite "drinks of the south" (since that Dole Whip isn't available)...get a nice tall glass of ICED TEA with extra ice and find a place to stick your feet in the water and cool off!

The flight for NYC pushed from gate 8 minutes ago so I've only got CiCi to take care of now for a few days. HOPE I can get caught up on Disboards...haven't checked other threads since last Wednesday... and get some more crops ready for WITW. I'm ready for a "lazy" week.

I love iced tea. My favorite to drink in the summer.

That is "in Heaven" weather for us! DD called earlier...said the Princess is "freezing" in NY...she's wearing blue jeans and a jacket. It's 75!

Our pool is finally open. Water was 64 yesterday.

You made it...got it open before July 1st! ... but...64? That's what I call..."ease in slow" water temperature!

Diane we need to swap a lot of water. I was at 96. Had 2 days of clouds and some rain. Temp lowered to 90. The next day little clouds and it was back to 92. I have not looked in a couple of days.

Goopy, 64 is not slip in slowly water. It is don't get in at all Brrrrrrrrrr

You are SO right...64 IS "don't get in at all"...at least for me . I'm going to have to get a pool temp gauge...have no idea what ours is...just know it's VERY pleasant out there now. Just enjoyed it. We've been SO lucky...our high today was only 85 and we had a short afternoon shower that cooled us down even more. But boy was it humid this morning! (...and I solved the Orange Bird crop...it's a poster in the tunnel entering the MK. Have a picture of it somewhere...).
